Chris from Jacob & Company Remodeling was a pleasure to work with and have in my home. I wanted to fit a stand alone freezer in my kitchen which has an existing island. Both will not fit functionally in my kitchen. Chris came out and gave me an idea and an estimate to make both work. He was able to easily change out the granite island counter top to one with a better shape that both made room for my freezer, to open an all, as well as providing a better structure for seating; since we were not using it the was it was. I was so happy with the simple solution that did not require my kitchen to be torn apart over a little freezer! There was little mess and they were in and out quickly. Because of his awesome idea, the cost was much lower than I had anticipated, so I had him install a hanging pot holder over the island and now I am TRULY happy! No more bending under the deep dark island cabinets to find a small pot!! Thank you for the fantastic service and I will call on you again fro my next home improvement project! more

We were starting to feel closed in by our home, it was getting a bit tight with space. We already had a garage sale, donated thing and still the space was just not right. So we decided to hire a contractor to help us make the most of the space we have. We started with the closets. We restructured the closets with organizers, doors, cubbies and hanging bars, as well as pull out hampers for the dirty clothes. Next we added shelving in the kids rooms. After that we attacked the laundry room, getting the ironing board installed on the door, shelving, a custom wall unit for soap and laundry supplies and a hanging rod to air dry clothing. We installed high shelving around the perimeter to store things we don't use to often. In the bathroom, we removed the standing sink with a beautiful cabinet! Now all that was left was the garage and the kitchen. The kitchen has always been set up terribly! There is little drawer space and the pantry is not deep enough for a trash can, etc. We were able to make some minor changes that really improved the function. We removed some of the lower shelves in the pantry closet to fit a trash can, then we added some deep, tall drawers, and above that, more structured shelving with less height between the shelves so we didn't have to stack things 5 high to use the area. I am so happy with the results! I cannot afford to sell this house and I was tired of clutter and seeing things on the floor or out of place. You have finally allowed me to enjoy my home again! We decided to close in the Arizona room and make it part of the house while we were installing our new roof. We used Jacob & Company Remodeling to complete the entire job. Not only are they experienced and forth coming with amazing ideas, but they are fast, clean and efficient. My wife is really sensitive to dust and she really feared the remodeling portion of the job. Chris was wonderful, he temporarily installed a heavy plastic barrier between the house and the Arizona room and again at the end of the main house hallway. It really helped to keep the dust out of the main parts of the house and they recommended an Air Duct Cleaning Service after the remodel was complete! We felt very well taken care of and in good hands with Jacob & Company. The roof is a much lighter and reflective color that the old one and looks great. The addition or enclosure of the Arizona Room is flawless and looks as though it was always part of the house. The extra square footage inside of the house is priceless!
