I was told 1 price only to be charged more than double at the end. I was very unhappy and the Asain manager/owner was difficult to deal with and disregarded my complaints on the service. My Asian masseuse left me on the table with no clothes and no sheet to cover my exposed body while she constantly went in and out of the room. DO NOT try a hot stone massage unless it is a reputable place. My experience was embarassing and unpleasant to say the least. The lady had no concern for any of my unease. I was completely shocked and have NEVER been treated so badly. Go to this place at your own risk. On the plus side my mom had a massage by Nathan. He was wonderful and showed her the shower room, gave her a bathrobe, and let her lock her things in the locker room. If you must go...request him. I got no bathrobe, no locker room, and was exposed to anyone passing the the hallway- at least 7 times. I was counting rather than relaxing. STAY AWAY!!! I can NOT believe what happened to me at this spa. I went in for some simple eyebrow waxing, I paid in full before the service. During the waxing I was told by the esthetician that she would "clean up" a spot on my neck FREE OF CHARGE. I said OK and she finished her waxing. I gave her a $5 tip for her service and left. As I was walking out the door she chased after me yelling that I owed her for a full neck waxing, $10 more. This is illegal. You can not charge someone for something you said was free AND you can not do a service without fully disclosing the cost of the service. She chased me to my car and yelled at me, screaming that I owed her more money. I felt harassed and scared. I asked to speak with her manager and she said SHE WAS THE MANAGER! She kept threatening me yelling in the parking lot not letting me leave so I paid the money I know I did not owe her and told her I would never come back. I have NEVER been harassed like this before ever and will tell everyone how horrible they are at this spa. What I found out later is that the estheticians name is Rose and she is NOT the manager, a woman named Stacy is, but they will not let me speak with the manager any time I call. They overcharged by $10 for a service they said was free. I gave a $5 tip before they told me I owed them more money and they harassed, threatened, yelled at me and wasted my time for 10 min in their parking lot. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I arrived there with no appointment at 5 pm for cut, color & highlights and I was the only customer that I could see. The Vietnamese lady who served me did an okay job and was very pleasant. I was pleased with the results, but I had a difficult time communicating with her. I was also disappointed in the Panteen products used on my hair since they had Redken products up front. The cost was $130 for the service. I guess the "Image Resort" name and my previous experience with the store made it feel more like a discount (but not the price) salon. more
