We had the carpets in our home cleaned in Fall 2007. The company did a reasonable job and one of the workers suggested a cleaning for our 100% silk Chinese rug. There was a small stain from a drink in the corner of the rug. They took it away and applied some chemical to it all in all they used the wrong equipment. Basically they burned it. They claimed to have been insured but were unwilling to provide proof insurance. We lost our rug and were never reimbursed! Needless to say, this time around we went with a different company, after the nightmare we had last time. Huntington Beach Carpet Cleaners came highly recommended and we decided to give it a try. The carpets were somewhat dirty since it had been almost 3 years since the last cleaning. This company is wonderful. I called Huntington carpet cleaners after I tried to rent a ?do it yourself? carpet cleaning machine, which only left my carpets soaked and smelling like mold. Huntington carpet cleaning sent a technician on a short notice. He was very friendly and worked hard to extract all the water from my carpet, leaving it smelling great and looking normal again.
