It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Art Deco Masterpiece 8/12/2005

This hotel is clearly one of the gems of America's Art Deco period that still survives basicly in its original form (At least in the lobby) until today. Located in the Carew Tower, the tallest building in Cincinnati, it adjoins an arcade of shops so you won't have to go far to do shopping. It is also connected to the Convention Center by a covered Skywalk, so you can get back and forth without getting too warm/cold/wet. A must stay location for lovers of architectural detail. Orchids 6/19/2005

If you haven't been to the new Orchids in awhile try it! The menu is exciting and the food excellent. Service was a little slow to start but was perfect as the meal went on. The menu changes constantly with the season and what's fresh. Nice wine list and not over priced. The room is like nothing else in the city and can't be found outside NY or Chicago. Overall $65/person with tip and drinks not bad. Call ahead. Pros: food, parking valet, ambience Cons: $$$ more

A Top-Notch Drink 11/22/2003

Rick Blaine would be proud. With breathtaking Art-Deco surroundings, a great jazz trio on weekends, and very reasonable drink prices, the Palm Court is the only place in town that doesn't mistake true elegance and refinement for pretentiousness. Hands down my favorite place to relax and talk with friends. more
