The Best Customer Service I Have EVER Received 2/3/2012

Buying a car and saying you had a ""great customer experience"" means significantly more than reporting how pleased you were with the temperature of your drive through cheeseburger. Buying a car is HUGE. So it's a huge deal to have that be your best customer experience yet. The dealer who sold me my new Nissan (Dylan) was attentive, patient, enthusiastic, empathetic, hardworking, and caring - all of the qualities you would want when dealing with: my verbose consideration of all pros and cons, my nine thousand questions, my eagerness, my financial concerns, my 'complicated' sale, and .. me & my car buying experience as a whole. Throughout the entire saga of my car purchase (see below) including him driving out to my home and spending an hour or so going over how to use every feature from blue tooth to navigation to the key that keeps my wheels from being stolen, he kept in touch phoning to check in, follow up, whatever it took. I was so impressed by him. Mark & Ryan in sales fought for me in getting the best deal with the greatest number of pros over cons, rather than giving it up at the first round, or even the second for that matter. On top of which, I was dealing with an upside down used car trade-in, and when it was all said and done, not only was I in a brand new car with warranty, gap, and all the fixins', but I was 'out' of my old car which I would have continued to pay off over another 2 years when nearly its full value had already depreciated. (A one-year-mobile after my new Toyota was stolen a year ago). It all worked out differently than I thought it might, and because of that, actually worked out much better for me in the long run. I then continued to be in contact with even more members of this team: Andre in finance was kind on the phone when he contacted me to check on some final info (my car was going to be driven to me and all final paperwork handled at home). Then... when a wind storm at home knocked debri onto my brand new Nissan in the driveway, causing some small dents and paint scuffs the first night I had it ($%&@@!!$$*!) Dylan assured me it would be taken care of. Reggie with customer service called me the next morning to ask me about how everything had been with the sale and told me what they were going to do to fix the damage. A Dent Protection guy called to schedule with me (no I didn't have to get in touch with him) and an appointment with the Services Manager Alex was made for the next morning. Nissan buffed just about all of the marks out, dent guy, Daryl came to my office a few hours later to pop the dent out and it's almost like it never happened. I barely had to do anything - I was the one being phoned to have it all taken care of, not the other way around. Even with the chaos, they still delivered through to the end. I am thoroughly in awe and as long as my new car upholds the same level of satisfaction over the years, then I just may well be a lifer. This dealership went through an ownership and entire team change in October of 2010 as far as I understand and this must very well be responsible for the better experiences being reported here. You guys were great. more

These guys came through for me! Valencia Nissan Rocks! 8/26/2010

I happily bought a 07 certified pre-owned Altima from these guys because they were the first dealership that didn't laugh me out or try the old bait and switch trick. I went into about 20 dealerships and told them the deal I was looking for and all the other sales reps at all the other companies were friggin morons. I couldn't believe how few salespeople know how to negotiate to make a win-win. These guys were the only team that was willing to meet me MORE THAN half way. Well, it's been several months and I love my car! Frank in the service center has been easy to work with. I trust that if I have a problem these guys will fix it. Thanks. more

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE DISHONEST DEALER 7/24/2010

They lie and cheat until they trap you to buy a car. They switch paper works on you. I saw the same thing said in another review here. It is true... They do not disclose material terms. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT YOU HEAR IN THIS DEALERSHIP! Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

The Most Dishonest People Work for This Dealership 6/17/2010

You should stay away from this dealership. The sales team and supervisors are criminals that should get life sentence in prison. They put you in contact with a college kid to show you cars and then they switch everything on you. They ask you to sign papers and then they switch papers. I cannot wait til this dealership is out of business. Pros: Nothing Cons: Fraud more

HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!! 2/8/2010

I had made a deal with the car salesman, Michael, who assured me that he could get me a Nissan Rogue for the price I suggested.---------- We then began talking about financing and Kevin told me that I was in luck. He told me he could get me a great interest rate.---------- Then I went and signed all the paperwork, which consisted on no less than ten different places to write my signature. When they gave me the invoice, my attention was drawn to the total price financed, which was more than we had agreed upon.---------- I was told that this price included tax, title and other fees. Trusting that the people I was working with were reputable and honest, I signed the paper.---------- When I returned home, I looked at the fine print on the over-sized document. I noticed that the price of the car had mysteriously returned to the sticker price.---------- I called the dealership and spoke with Kevin who was rude and very proud of his rouse. He told me I was an idiot for signing the paper and that he would not be willing to meet me half way and refund a portion of the difference. ---------- These people give car salesmen a bad name, and if you know anything about the perception of car salesmen, you realize that this is quite a feat. Pros: They have Nissans Cons: Shady sales practices more

Service 11/21/2008

I took my 2002 Xterra there because the engine was running rough and the clutch was making a strange noise. They told me the would do a thorough exam of the vehicle and get back to me. The service advisor had me sign the papers which stated ""estimate of work"" and there was $110.00. I asked him what that was for and he said ""it was an estimate: and he ""was not sure why that keeps coming up, not to worry"". Later that day, I was called and they informed me that my transmission and clutch needed replaced and it would cost 3400 dollars. They did not even look at the engine. I told them I didn't want them to do the work. When I picked up the vehicle, they charged me $110.00 dollars for labor. The Service Manager, Stuart told me ""they did all this work for you and it costs"". \r \r To add insult to injury, the next day I took the XTerra to Aamco and they said there was nothing wrong with the transmission, but replaced the clutch for a third Nissan wanted.\r \r If you go there, be careful what you sign and the explanation of fees. Don't waste $110.00 like I did! \r \r Pros: Location Cons: too many to mention more

Friendly service and makes me smile 1/3/2008

After my negative, horrible experience with another Nissan dealer, I was not a happy camper that the "check engine" light was on in my 2 year old Sentra. I will defend Zack as an excellent service writer and say he met his goal of putting the smile back on my face. Valencia Nissan provided great service and took care of the issues under warranty without question. He even followed up with the radio they needed to order in less than a week. These guys are great! more

Service without a smile 6/18/2007

This was my second visit to Valencia Nissan Service department. While the first one was just a regular inspection / oil change and nothing to write about, this one was completely different.\r First, it took at least 4 calls to the service department to schedule an appointment: they don't pick up and they certainly don't call back. \r When I dropped my car off on Saturday morning, the service rep, Zack, was grumpy and unpleasant. Any attempts at chit-chat or small talk resulted in a muffled reply and a basic "don't bother me" attitude.\r The car had some A/C issues so I asked them to take a look and call me to let me know what needed to be repaired. No one called. I finally called around 3:30pm to try and find out if the car was ready. It was, and the service department was closing at 4:00pm. So when I got there, there was no one to explain the findings, nor anyone to ask questions about their 'suggested' additional repairs. Furthermore, they left my SUV's transmission in 4-wheel LO positi more

A good dealership 7/30/2005

I've never had any problems with Valencia Nissan. They're nice people and easy to work with. They've always fixed all of our (under warranty) car problems within a few days. If I was paying out of pocket, they're kind of expensive. more

Great Service 5/23/2005

Valencia Nissan gets you exactly what you need imediately. There is no "run around" with them. They get you in and out in no time. They're extremely nice and helpful with the customers. Their prices are competitive also. more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 2/6/2005

This dealership was trying to sell a used vehicle with blatantly fraudulent mileage. The vehicle was a 2000 model and was alleged to have 7500 miles on it (in 2005). The mileage seemed suspicious so I ran a title check and found that the vehicle had 29K miles on it in 2001 and probably has 60-80K miles at least by now. It's difficult to believe the dealership bought and tried to sell this vehicle without ever running a title check on it, especially since they bought it at auction. If they DIDN'T run a title check, then they're pretty negligent and I wouldn't want to do buisness with them then either. When I contacted the dealership (already aware of the fradulent mileage), the salesman said the vehicle had 7500 miles on it and just wasn't driven much. Buyer beware if you're going to purchase from this dealership. more

I like this dealer for its service department. I have brought my Nissan here several times for minor repair work, and have been treated fairly and not in an intimidating manner at all. They service personnel are friendly and competent. Prices are generally higher here than at an independent mechanic, but for speed and efficiency, this service is recommendable. more

nice 5/30/2002

I was on a lease for a cute pathfinder that i no longer wanted because i found my dream car..across the street. They actually bought the car from the dealers across the way just to help me out of my lease! i have never known a staff or a company that would go out of there way to help me out. I will most surely come here again when i need anothe car! Pros: great staff, helpful more
