avoid this place like the devil. they ruined my wedding day because they ruined my dress....they use the cheapest fabric ever, and the people who ""alter"" the dresses dont really know how to sew at all. yeah, DO NOT go here for a wedding dress. This might be a good place to get a cheap dress for your 3 year old who wants to play dress up. Thats all. more

I learned about the bad stuff that goes on from friends who use to work for them: They completely pressure you into buying their stuff. Their real focus is making the sale, not providing quality service. They make it sound like such a great deal but they don't professionally wash their gowns, instead they use home washing machines to clean them. They are also really really disorganized. They don't return phone calls & get all their information mixed up because they don't have an actual system to organize it. You have to examine the gowns carefully because they are not the best quality and most stuff needs to be replaced. Avoid them! Its worth spending the extra cash for your wedding- it only happens once anyway! more

I had to write a review when I read the only other terrible review! I was shocked! I just got married, and got my dress through Pamela's and had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! There are always two sides to the story, but I can't imagine not being absolutely thrilled with this place! My friend borrowed her dress, and ended up spending more then I did RENTING the dress I picked out that was everything I wanted, no compromise at all! Don't brides realize that headpiece's are over 100? Full slips are over 100? Cleaning it is like way over 100? Alterations?? The list goes on and on. They include EVERYTHING. It was awesome. I was thrilled with my dress. Everything is by appointment so you get total attention. That is not to be overlooked. So many of my friends who saw my dress WISH they had rented. Only go here if you want bad customer service and want to feel like you are an inconvenience. I went here the first time in January of 2007. I tried on some dresses and got great customer service from Lisa. She told me to give her a call in February so she could show me the 2008 spring line which wouldn't be ready until then. I called from February 10th throught the 22nd and left several messages without anybody calling me back. When I finally did get an appointment I thought it was with Lisa but turns out she had a last minute singing gig and Pamela was there instead. She showed me all the same things Lisa had showed me, but no 2008 items. She did however mention all my imperfections and why the dresses she was putting on me didn't fit me (i.e. small chest, wide ribcage, short stature). She proceeded to try to sell me a dress that was their most expensive dress (mermaid style although I had told her I don't like mermaid). Since we weren't making any progress she set me up for an appointment the following saturday at 1 p.m with Lisa. When I showed up at 1, they said my appointment had been for 11 that morning ( I know for sure it wasn't), and they would call me to set up another appointment. I asked Lisa if she had written down the dresses that I had like when I was there in January, she said because she hadn't heard from me in over a month (because nobody called me back) she had thrown my information out. I don't know if it's because my wedding isn't until October or because I don't fit their typical bride (getting married in the temple) but I was treated second rate at best and like I was some little kid at worst. I am not some whiny 18 year old brat, I am an educated professional and just wanted to be treated in kind. Needless to say there will be no other appointment. Pros: bad customer service, less selection if you're not looking for a temple ready dress, two piece dresses Cons: The prices are o.k. ($300-$450), they can make you a custom dress more
