Tom, the owner and operator of the Golden Razor, is hands down the best barber in the city of Pittsburgh. From the moment you walk into the shop, you feel like you have known the native Italian for years. Tom is always sure to offer his clientel a drink and a magazine to read while waiting, and his ability to carry conversations without gossiping is an old-fashioned barbershop talent. Tom is able to cut his patrons' hair to their specifications -- he also trims beards, eyebrows, (along with any bit of unsightly hair), and he offers an old fashioned-full shave -- hot towels and all. For a very reasonable price ($12 per cut, 20 w/shave) you can have your hair cut and leave with a smile on your face. However, because Tom is the busiest barber in the city, it is best to call for the best times to get your new 'dew.
Pros: Atmoshpere, haircuts.
Cons: Limited waiting room space.
