When I hurt my back at work, I needed to be seen immediately by my chiropractor but they were unavailable. I called my PCP's office and Dr. Prater's nurse advised that he could do an adjustment on me himself.
I didn't realize they offered this service, but as an Osteopath, he's trained to do so.
Dr. Prater was very mindful of the injury and used care in making sure that I wasn't in pain as he manipulated my spine. After the treatment, he gave me some exercises to strengthen the muscle that had been hurt and made follow up PT plans.
As a PCP, his office staff makes sure that I'm seen immediately if I'm ill or the next day at the latest.
