worst meal ever 3/10/2009

i live nearby and went here with my husband and two kids because we heard it had good cheap food. cheap yes. good no. even something as basic as garlic bread was bland and tasteless. my kids ordered individualized pizzas, which were overcooked and again bland. i feel like i could have made a better pizza with boboli crust and canned sauce. i ordered a veggie pasta which was barely edible. the service was subpar, as was the wine selection. sorry francelli's, but we will never be back. Pros: inexpensive Cons: bad food and service more

Great fresh ingredients 6/12/2008

Have been coming here for years and the food is always good. Nothing fancy, just good,l family style italian food. Eggplant Parm is one of my favorites and they now have whole wheat spaghetti which is wonderful. Great prices and services.. Definately underated as far as Im concerned! House chianti is a great wine at a great price. Mon-Tues is all you can eat spaghetti for $5.95 and Wed - Thurs. Lasagne for $7.95. Overheard a server saying prices may go up a $1 due to economy. Still a great deal for your dollar! more

Delicious comfort Italian food 10/2/2006

Just tried Francelli's for the first time tonight. It definitely won't be the last. Pastas were delicious (basil penne, fettucine carbonara). All the other standards plus more are available, including pizzas. Atmostphere was very comfortable. No wait, friendly staff, prompt service, good food. It seems they also have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti special on Monday and Tuesday nights ($5.95, with soup/salad and yummy garlic bread included). Pros: tasty food, good service Cons: carbonara was a little too spicy more

Delicious! 7/27/2006

Francelli's is one of our favorite local Italian restaurants in the area. The same servers are always working, and they all have great relationships with the regulars, but treat newcomers with the same familiarity and hospitality. Portions are large, garlic bread is fantastic, and they have a large and interesting menu. TRY THE LASAGNA! It is killer! Their pizza and calzones are also delicious-leftovers don't last long in our fridge.\r \r The only problem is parking; we usually end up parking on the street nearby. Pros: Service, variety, homemade taste Cons: parking more
