Good Food 4/10/2006

I first tried this restaurant when I met a friend for dinner shortly after I moved back to Columbus. I was very impressed with the menu selection, considering that it is a very, very tiny place. They offered standards pizzas but also had some incredible pasta dishes to chose from. I went with a pasta and could not believe how good it tasted. Everything was really fresh and the seasonings were great. The prices was unbelievable too. I left only spending $12 including drink and tip. Give them a try the next time you are in the campus area. more

Taste of New York 3/28/2006

My hubby the New Yorker misses his beloved pizza, you know, those flat crusted wedges bigger than your head, the ones that just don't taste right unless you fold them weird ways to eat them? Flying Pizza is the place to go for real New York slices. The owner is a treat too, listening to him kibitz back and forth with staff and customers, I could be in my in-laws place! And you don't have to drive 10 hours to get it!!! more

Best Pizza! 9/17/2005

I'm originaly from Dayton and I missed this terribly until one day I found it on Bethel Road! This is definetly better then the main line pizza you get around here. This is a family owned and run business that has never diappointed. Your kids will love watching them make the pizzas right there in front of you. And when they say extra large pizza they mean it! You've got to get one to understand! more

My husband's favorite! 8/3/2005

My husband LOVES this place! He is contantly talking about when we can stop for pizza! The guy who owns it...here's one on Bethel as well...definitely has a "take no crap" attitude. It's no frills, but the pizza is delicious! My hubby likes it so much I got him one for his birthday dinner last year! more

New York style pizza 9/27/2004

Flying Pizza serves New York style slices across from the Ohio State campus. The owner is a charmer--he's got a New York style personality. The place is very small, so don't plan to linger, but you'll enjoy your slice. more
