My friends and I are avid diners, and the three of us dined at Fiorillo's on Friday night. The Cesar salad was wilted and bland, but did have actual anchovies on top. The onion soup was tasteless and cold (beef stock, onions, bread and cheese - how could they mess this up?). Even though the Chicken Saltimboca was overcooked and cold, it was the best dish that night. Unfortunately, the service was the ABSOLUTE worst we'd ever experienced in the South Bay. Yes, the place was busy, but there was no reason for the non-existant service at such an "established" restaurant. We didn't get drinks or bread for about 20 minutes after being seated. After 40 minutes we finally received our food - all at once, soups, salads, appetizers and entrees. We didn't see the waitress again. No drink refills, no wine, nothing. When we finally did get the waitress' attention, we asked for various things (bread, a knife, a glass of wine). We got none of it. Seriously. Finally fed up with this ridiculous service, we asked for the bill - which took 14 minutes to receive even though 1/2 of the restaurant was empty by then! I'm not sure who is running this place, but they certainly don't want repeat customers. Our $110 meal was a complete waste of time and effort. We hope the $1 tip we left was a message to the staff. I would avoid this place. You'll likely get a better meal and much better service at Olive Garden, McDonalds, or the taco truck down the street.
Pros: Endless ice tea (if you can get it), fresh-baked poppyseed bread (if you can get it)
Cons: Unusually bad service, noisy, not good food for the price, mediocre wine list
