Ive visited this restaurant numerous times and have rarely been disappointed. Their Peruvian cooking appears to be authentic, at least two of our friends from Lima thought so. Fried yucca is a wonderful appetizer for people who want to try exploring South American cooking, but dont want to be overly adventurous. Think of the dish as hearty French fries.
A recommended beverage is Chicha Morada a purple drink made from corn. Dinner platters are generous and range from seafood, to stews, and beef. Vegetarians will have a hard time finding a good non-meat dish, however. Their starter rolls are totally hit and miss. One day theyre fresh, another day theyre rock-hard. The ambiance is similar to a standard family restaurant; an overhead television is usually tuned to Univision or Telemundo so you can get good food and some Spanish immersion at the same time.
Pros: good menu selection, easy parking, good prices
Cons: Average ambience
