found this store when walking back to my hotel from the Plaza. they have the best selection i've seen in a long time. Salesperson was really helpful and helped me find a great fitting pair of jeans. will def recommend to other friends more

Dust in the Wind has moved to 134 W Water Street, under the Coyote Cafe and right new to their new bar to be open soon! The space is a 1000 sq feet bigger and more contemporary. Hope to see you all more

This store lures customers with cute, trendy clothing but DO NOT BE FOOLED! The prices are outrageous - buy online or elsewhere. Additionally, I have never encountered a more rude store owner. As a Santa Fe resident, it is simply shocking that this store is voted the best women's clothing store in Santa Fe, particularly given other MUCH better options in town. How does this store always win ""Best of"" in the SF Reporter's annual survey? I don't know anyone who has had a good experience in there. Where to start....First off, we go up to Santa Fe from Albuquerque all the time to shop but after our first experience there, it is always a joke to go in there and see what clothes she buys and puts her own tags on. I had bought many items from Forever 21 which range from $5-$25 dollars and had gone into DTW and realized that she buys cheap clothes and takes the tag off and puts her own on them and charges $100's (no joke!!!) more than they were originally paid for. The last time we went in to see what other scam she was up to and we confronted the other sales girl (who was so much nicer than the owner) and told her that we had discovered their secret and she was so embarrassed!!! The owner will even put Nanette Lepore tags on clothing that she buys from forever 21 and charge $300 for a $18.50 top!! Do not shop here, unless you are trying to get majorly ripped off!!!! The owner is soooo rude and always acts like you shouldnt be in her shop, we cant believe she is still in business!! After we report her, she will be dust in the wind!!! Pros: NONE!!! The women working in this shop are very rude. The first time I was in there I was followed around like I was going to try to take off with something. The second time I attempted to like this place, the woman told my friend to get out of the store because her 4 year old son was smudging the glass? No. I grew up in this town, have lived in one of the fashion capitals of the world - NYC- and I've never been more disgusted with the service of a store (especially in the heart of tourist season) than I was with DUST IN THE WIND. If you're going to shop here , you must have a lot of money and no clue as to how much you should really be paying for those out of date jeans. Pros: cute idea Cons: the owner more
