I love double take. I've been shopping there for five years now and I've never left empty handed. This consignment store has great new wooden toys as well as a small room with used toys literally floor to ceiling. There is also a nice selection of kids books and some movies. Really great finds can be had in larger toys like wooden rocking horses or doll houses. Just ask to be put on a contact list if you are searching for something specific. The best part of all is that there is so much else to choose from. Kids clothes, strollers, slings and carriers, on and on, even some cloth diapers. Call ahead for times to drop off consignment. They only take so many things at a time and season specific.

We dined here while visiting Santa Fe this past year. It was great. They serve New Mexican fare at reasonable prices. The restaurant, as the name implies, is filled with old world charm.

If you don't need hemp, you still need the hemp store bumper stickers. Wondering where to buy the latest subversive saying? Probably at The Hemp Store. The selection of hemp clothing and goods changes regularly. I was very sad that they didn't have the hemp cloth diapers when I was ready for them. But they do have great organic cotton underwear and socks. Lots of hemp clothing and bags. And like I said, those great bumper stickers.

i shop here all the time and adore everything they have!!
Dust in the Wind (or DTW???) is always up to date on trends and is my go-to place for great outfits. I'm pretty sure they don't claim to have real chanel because anyone who was remotely familiar with the line would realize u can't buy chanel in boutiques. Their 7 for all mankind jeans always fit me the best and i just got a fantastic leather jacket since its winter time!!
I highly reccomend this place
Pros: great selection!!
Cons: I always max out my credit card haha

I haven't lived in Santa Fe for five years but went back for a visit recently and found that Doubletake is one of the best consignment shops in the world. I've lived in a lot of "fancy" places, and nothing beats the interesting, unique, ever-changing and - yes - chic - clothing in this abundant and friendly store. Fashion mavens: do not miss out on the incredible bargains and "finds" at this store. It has expanded, by the way. A total treasure trove. Thanks to the always-accommodating, upbeat and helpful staff and management. (Wish you would come to Las Vegas - we need you!)
Pros: Ever-changing, abundant inventory; interesting, chic finds at bargains; great prices; fun staff
Cons: Parking can get hairy on Zia - do yourself a favor and park on Guadaloupe.

I'm sorry the first reviewer had such a bad experience, but I'm sure that salesperson is no longer an employee. I say this because every employee at this store that I've ever worked with (and I'm a regular shopper) is friendly and knowledgeable. The shoe selection is fantastic and unbeatable anywhere else in town. Although the prices can be beat with on-line shopping, by the time you add the shipping & handling charges, your savings has diminished. With fuel costs increasing at the current alarming rate, shipping charges are starting to increase, as well. Think and buy locally!
Pros: No comparison elsewhere in Santa Fe
Cons: Can get a bit busy around the holidays; give yourself some time to shop

Our family has been visiting Santa Fe for over 38 years. We love Tin-Nee-Ann's. When we had young children we could afford to take them in the store and felt welcome. They are always ready to teach and share their knowledge about stone, jewlery and native american art. They as so very patient. They will tell you that they think everything is authentic but look carefully because even they can be fulled. They have the junk for the children and art pieces out of this world. I had an old cross that I had never been able to wear because I could not find a chain that would work with it. There silver smith aka. "Spider Lady" (she loves spiders) helped me make a choice that I have since realized was very authentic. It was a piece my mother had bought 5o years before and was special to me. The chain was less than $30 dollars but I could have been spending $3000 for the care they gave me. They have trays and trays of rings, slide and earrings. I have spent hours looking. Might get 5 or 6 pairs. They get tired but are absolutely always kind and supportive. This review is late in coming but well deserved.

The Ark is a little bit hard to find so bring your map and drive slowly on Agua Fria or you are likely to miss Romero St. Once you enter the store you are immediately relaxed by the gentle music, beautiful surroundings and healing energy. This store has a great selection of books you can just lose yourself here. Comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the rooms and I felt invited to take my time and really look through the books. They also carry great music and jewelry.
