Good but not the best 3/8/2007

I had DD pizza for the first time at the beginning of this year as they'd sent out some pretty nice coupons. We got a large pepperoni pizza for $8.00 with the coupon. The pizza was good for $8.00 but I would never pay full price for it. They are a "direct competitor" with Fuzzy's pizza as far as price goes but they don't come close in taste. It's a good pizza but 'll keep going to Fuzzy's. more

Hope it is under stable management now 4/15/2006

I too loved the pepperoni rolls in college (UT?). I was happy to see a Double Dave's open in Katy and went to the buffet a few times. It was delicious and my kids had fun playing around in the arcade area. The service was very friendly and accomodating to my two toddlers. I went back in October for an after church lunch and found it closed. It was closed for a while, but now seems to be back on track. I look forward to trying it again soon and checking out the new management. more

You have to try the pepperoni rolls! 4/13/2006

I loved Double Dave's when I was in college and I could have lived off of the pepperoni rolls! I hadn't been there in years and didn't even know they had them in Houston, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw one here and decided to try it out. I was disappointed! The pepperoni rolls are as good as I remembered! They have a buffet that's a little on the pricey side compared to some competitors (it will run you about $7.50/person), but ther pizza is also so much better! They use provolone cheese which gives it a unique but yummy flavor! You are missing out if you haven't checked them out!! more
