i dont even know where to start. first, its overpriced, i was told doc charges $140 an hour, most places charge by ink, not time. i went with their second "best" artist greg. his portfolio was impressive, so i figured it was a good deal, ya my mistake. i sit down in his chair, and the only words that come out of his mouth are "lift your sleeve" and "ok" for two and a half hours. i couldnt see what he was doing very well through my blood, but when it was finished, i almost passed out. the lines werent straight, it wasn't symmetrical (i got three hearts with zebra striping), and the worst part was he actually messed up. there is a part where two zebra stripes connect into one (his idea), and instead of coloring inside the lines that he drew, he starts filling in between them, turning them into one massive black blob. luckily he caught his mistake and stopped halfway through, and instead of even trying to fill in the rest of the stripe, he just ignored it and kept going. remember kids, tattoos are forever, and so are the artists mistake. oh, his idea of shading? instead of using different shades of color or white to make it pop, he just left parts uncolored. the entire inner edge of my tattoo is completely untouched. it looks like he was afraid to go near the lines while coloring some places. doc seemed nice, he came in and talked to me more than greg did. they're intern was really cool too. but now i am stuck with a horrible tattoo and its my fault. i have friends with much better tattoos and they all agree that mine is a joke. if anywhere ,i suggest looking at hardcore tattoos.
