Curry Leaf Fine Indian Cuisine

Very poor food, customer service. No manners at all about how to talk to customers. Food was junk and one of the worse i have ever had in last 13 years..... Do not even try ! more

This review is based on not just my personal experience but also my friends and the guests who attended my son's birthday party would agree with my review. I have been planning my son's birthday for quite a while and finally decided will go with Curry leaf Banquet Hall as prior to this we had been catered the food twice from the same place.So thought might as well use their Banquet for our party. I have been coordinating with the Manager dealing with the Banquet Hall for more than a month and negotiating the price, food,arrangements,decorations ,music and freaking damn each n every single details related to the party !! And every time we talked, he convinced me not to worry anything related to the party.They will take care of each n every single thing and keep us tension free !! And just the day before the party when we called up to make sure everything was take care of..he still convinces us to NOT TO worry about it. Trust us and our service!! So here we go an hour ahead of the party to arrange the things and set up and decor...the freaking Manager changes the whole view..He DENIES to everything which was agreed upon on and totally refuses to coordinate with us! Imagine guyz, u have ur party starting in half an hour, how would u feel !!Guests arriving any moment and the place not set up the way we discussed.He wasn't even ready to set up an extra table for guests nor would allow us to decorate as we discussed !! The music system was not working well too. The WORST thing yet to come. The food which arrived lacked the quality and the quantity !!! They were served in small trays. The worst is not finished yet...The so called Manager STOLE the food in front of the guests and putting it away in the fridge !! He had 2 big bowls which he used to fill the chicken pieces from the Chicken Kadai dish and the Paneer from the Paneer chili dish !! And all was left was the gravy which was served for the guests !!! At the end they charged extra for the small kids though we had ordered Pizza separately for the kids and made us pay for freaking screen which allowed us to put the Birthday Banner for $25 dollars !! U lost the customer who was royal to u for the past 3 yrs and recommended the best about the restaurant, food and service to all the friends and family. Last but not least, WORST experience and Thanks a lot Curry Leaf for spoiling my son's first birthday party !!!! more

We went to this place for dinner after reading the reviews here about a month ago. It was a weekday evening and there were only two tables occupied and I thought we should receive a good service. We ordered our food around 7:00 PM. We ordered just a couple of dishes and some rice and naan. By the time the food was served was around 8:30 PM. The side dishes were extremely salty. They forgot to bring the rice. By the time it came, we had finished eating (whatever we could!!). So, I declined to take the rice and paid the check and left. The worst part was, I had an upset stomach that night and my mom (she was turning 70 - that's why we went out) told us next morning that she had an upset stomach as well and also threw up in the middle of the night. The reason, I'm writing this after a month is because, we went to an Indian concert last night where they served boxed-food from this place. We were expecting some sambar rice and curd rice. To our surprise, we found 3 boxes full of just curries and nothing else. I'm not sure if there was a mix up on the part of the organizers or if it was these guys. But given my prior experience, I would not be surprised if these guys ran out of food and just packed 3 boxes full of what ever they can fill it with. I usually never write reviews but since I went there after reading reviews on this site, I decided to write one myself. I'm not sure how this place gets such high ratings in the past. more

Just for providing GREAT food they deserve 5 stars! This is definitely a hidden gem. I absolutely love Indian food and please believe me when I say the food was absolutely delicious!!! So good that my husband and I were seriously thinking about going for dinner (again) the following day. My husband and two of our friends ate dinner here on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, by the time we made it there we were the only diners. I believe that this is due to their location. But everyone please, please, please pass all of the restaurants on Rt. 59 and make the turn on BrookDale so you can enjoy some great food! The four of us tried two appetizers: the samosas and chicken 65...very, very good! We also ordered both the naan and garlic naan...no disappointment here, although I prefer the naan w/o garlic but everyone else enjoyed both! Then the oh so awesome entrees: Shrimp Vindaloo (very spicy, watch out), lamb pasanda, murg pasanda, and chicken kadai...all were awesome. The staff were very pleasant and very attentive. I'm sure you're thinking well it was just you 4...well either way they were awesome. Oh and did I mention great prices?! We will be back definitely within the next two weekends! more

i was very surprised when i entered the hotel.it looks like we are going to some godown (some stuff is piled up at the entrance)..the ambience is very bad and the staff looks very cheap...and i surprised to see tthey are not giving any menu card.for the first time goers it is very difficult to know what they are providing(ofcourse we went for lunch buffet).interior design is very worst.no soothing music but a deadly silence..\r \r it is horrible to go for second time.we people go to hotels for some relaxations and to have fun..but if it is missing there what's the use of going....i didnt enjoy eating food here.. more

Upon ordering over the phone, they make you think they're doing you a favor. Not very appreciative of the patrons. Food is decent. As an Indian myself, I think the food does not measure up to the attitude. I dont care where this guy was a chef before. Im appauled by the little work ethic, therefore I give one less star. more

This is one of the best restaurant i ever see.\r \r Husband and wife working hard to maintain the quality.\r i realized that chef worked in many high end restaurants.\r The prices are big surprise.
