A few notes: If you enjoy comedy and would like to see acts here - listen to WKLH. They are always giving away tickets to the Comedy Cafe. I believe they have the featured comedians on the Thursday morning show. USUALLY, they will give away several 4 pack of tickets for the shows. We use to go when they had the 20 ticket party giveaways. There would be an entire area dedicated to our groups. One thing to be aware of, when you get your tab at the end of the night, the tip is automatically included. But you might not know that since it's not very clear on the bill. By all means, tip your waitresses well. But when there are 20 in our group and 15 - 20% has already been added in, the girls are making out pretty well after we unknowingly toss another 20% on the table. Just something to be aware of. Getting back to a positive note, since this club is so small, you can usually meet the comedians after the show. Fun! Buy their wares, get autographs, etc. It's a great way to spend a Friday night! Not alot of people know, or visit, the comedy cafe on Brady street but honestly I have seen some of the best comedians around doing gigs there. The setup inside is pretty nice, you can hang out, have a few drinks, and laugh until your sides hurt. The vibe inside is really intimate, it isn't a huge club, nearly everyone has a great view of the stage. more

I always forget about the Comedy Cafe when I am looking for something unique to do...but every time I have gone I have had a great time! This is one place where I swear I have almost cried from laughing so hard! The prices vary by entertainment, and there is a two drink minimum, which I don't mind since I am usually out for a night when I go. Plus you can order soda or coffee/juice drinks too. Parking can be a hassle but there is valet service, which is nice to have available! I don't think a lot of people in Milwaukee take advantage of the great entertainment this club has to offer, but they should! more

Milwaukee's only 5 star comedy club offers many of the same comics you see on HBO, Letterman, and Leno. They do have a two beverage minimum. Valet parking is provided. The Comedy Cafe is a great place to go if you are in need of a laugh or just like laughing in general. There is always a new line up on local and national talent. more
