Colorcraft is a horrible company to be associated with. The things they have done to keep the doors open. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a valid professional place and stay away from these scammers. Any of the positive comments are from the owners email. We had an appointment scheduled for their Ronceverte, WV event. We showed up at our appointment time (with two well-groomed toddlers in tow), and there was no one there, the volunteer working at the fire station hadn't heard from anyone, and had no idea what had happened. We waited for a full thirty minutes (at which point the toddlers were a wreck!) and after trying to call their office and only getting voicemail, we gave up. We never received so much as a phone call with an apology or an attempt to reschedule. Completely unprofessional. Save your time and money -- go to a real, local professional and donate to your local emergency services on your own terms. more

We approached Colorcraft to take our son's senior photos. We had some really unique ideas and they were really understanding with what we were wanting and mixed their own artistic touch to really bring out some great photos. We loved that they kept the photos simple, there was a raw minimalism that meshed perfectly with what we had in mind. If you're seeking a professional photography studio, Colorcraft is great local option, my advice is to keep away from the Walmart big box type studios, our family has had nothing but trouble and wasted money from them over the years. We felt confident with Colorcraft and really liked working with their staff, so will be using them for the rest of our family photos from now one! more

We got a photo of our daughter as part of their fundraising program. Everything went smooth and my husband and I were very pleased with the pictures we received, she looks so beautiful. The photographer had a lot of work that day but was still warm and friendly. Can't help but recommend this to any one who asked, especially knowing the money is going to a good cause. more

They gave a free Child ID kit to all children photographed. Photography experience was great. He took many poses for us to choose from. The prices were very reasonable and they offered several value packages. Also, we can now go to their website to order additional pictures. more

They came to Moorefield, WV the 2nd week of April taking pictures. Deal was you donate $20 to the local fire department and get a free 8x10. Fine. They took the pictures and a week later you came back & ordered. Their prices were insane; I'm talking $30 for an 8x10 but you think, ohh, it's going to the fire department; no problem! WRONG. So we buy everything they have printed for $100 making our total now $120 for an 8 x 10 and a bunch of proofs that we have no rights for. Again, fine. We go back the next day and talk business. They agree to sell us the rights on a CD for another $50; PROMISE to have it ""rushed"".. PROMISE on a Thursday that he will turn the money in Saturday, they will burn a quick CD and have it out Monday. LIES. A week goes by; I call. They promise it will be in the mail ""tomorrow"". Another week goes by; SAME thing:: I call, they say ""tomorrow"".. AFTER A MONTH from when I paid, I get a package! I open it up; It has a letter giving us rights, our name is on the CD, & everything looks grand. I put the CD in and it's NOT EVEN OUR PICTURES; It is SOME OTHER FAMILY!! Are you kidding me?? The woman who answers the phone everytime is rude and frankly, I am sick of talking to her. God knows when it'll be NOW before I get the CORRECT CD! Another month?? I AM LIVID! A total of $170 for a handful of PROOFS and a CD of SOMEONE ELSE'S KIDS?? HORRIBLE BUSINESS; I will NEVER give them a penny again and I vow to review them poorly EVERYWHERE I CAN. more

It is a scam to take advantage of trusting people by offering a free 8x10 - then they rip you $70 for two 5x7's. (of mediocre quality at that) The people are not even centered in the photos. Warning - Stay away from these unscrupulous dirty dealers... Cons: bait and switch tactics more
