Club 33

Having been to Club 33 on several occasions I always look forward to having a meal here. The food is flawlessly prepared, absolutely astonishing, and the service is impeccable.\r I typically treat my wife to the club on our wedding anniversary every year, and not only do you get a fantastic meal, fantastic desserts, but then they bring you out a specially prepared Minnie and Mickey dessert to celebrate the occasion.\r I highly recommend if you ever get an ivitation to eat at the club, take advantage of it! It is absolutely worth the cost! more

This was our second visit to Club 33, first time it was a novel experience, but our second visit was quite possibly the worst food I've eaten. The service was also very poor, we had to ask for everything including spoons to stir our coffee. The food tasted like it had been kept in a warming tray and microwaved to reheat and serve. Two guests in our party had to send their plates back to be reheated. I can't understand why this dive gets such great reviews. Walt is probably turning over is in grave to see what has become of his crown jewel of great food and it's exclusivity. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money. I was lucky enough to be a guest of a guest of a member. I don't think I can go back to Disneyland knowing I can't get back into Club 33. The park was so crowded on the day that we went. There were THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of people. But when we got up to the restaurant there were at most 30 diners. It was an oasis. It was quiet and beautiful. Truly special. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. And my favorite thing about Club 33... it is the only place in the park that sells alcohol. I highly recommend the Irish coffee. STRONG! The food was delicious. My plated entree was the lamb. But I kept going back to the buffet for the crab and lobster. Mickey and Pluto came by our table. Mickey actually massaged my friend's shoulders. THAT'S SERVICE! Pros: Food, decor and staff are fantastic! Cons: You have to be a member or know one. more

Dinner here is better than lunch but the service and decor are always exceptional. All of the waiters have worked there forever so they know a lot about the restaurant (including all of it's history and little secrets) and love to talk about it. The steak is the best and is perfect for special occassions. Also if you let them know ahead of time if it's a birthday, anniversary, etc. they can help you with extra touches (custom desserts, flowers on the table, that sort of thing). I dine in club 33 every time my family is going to Disneyland, because we have a membership. Everyone that works there is nice and polite. They have lunch and dinner, but I always perferred the dinner to lunch. The food is not too expensive because the meal has to cover your fee into the park. So, however you look at it you are saving money by getting a great meal that not too many people can get into. One of the first times that we ate there my mom had put her backpack on the ground where some raspberry sauce had fallen and it stained her backpack. The waiter then sent someone to go to the store she had bought it in the park (Grand California) and bought her a new one free of charge. If that is not great service than I dont know what is. I never seem to tire of the beautiful decor of Club 33. On my last visit I had Louis for a waiter on two consecutive evenings. I have never had such wonderful service in my life! Louis was considerate, polite, prompt and made you feel as though you were his longtime friend! Louis made sure we had a balcony view for Fantasmic! and held our food until the conclusion of the show. At the conclusion of our meal (well after park closing) Louis gave us a wonderful tour of the club and many features that many long-time members may never see. The food was excellent and I offer my highest recommendation. A thank you to Matt as well for walking us to the front gate after the park was closed and for being patient with a group who wanted to take picture after picture! Way to go!!!! Passing through the secured door of Club 33 transports you away from the hustle and bustle of Disneyland. The warm atmosphere and rich history of the many exquisite items on display (do ask your host(ess) for a tour) puts your mind and body at ease. The wine list is extensive and a source of pride for the current management. If wine is not your thing, the martinis are also first rate. The menu changes every 6 months with the Chateaubriand being the only true mainstay. But fear not, the menu has never disappointed. After experiencing the fabulous atmosphere and best tasting food ever. I recommend this restaurant to all who can get in. I wish we could afford the annual fee. However for now, the invitations from friends will have to do. Not only the food was delightful but the service was outstanding. If I were a restaurant reviewer I would give it a 10.
