Charles Grayson European Spa Salon

I went to charles grayson today and saw Jennifer for highlights and hair cut. She did a fabulous job on my highlights! She gave me a ton of foils, and my hair turned out looking extremely natural. I'm a total hair critic, and I would recommend her to anyone who is very specific about their color because she knows exactly what she's doing. I have never written an online review, but this service was definitely worthy of one! more

I was lied to, did not recieve full service agreed upon. I called to inquire about the natural looking extreme lashes. These lashes are attached one by one by a professional. I had been quoted $180 for top lashes and $75 for bottom lashes at other places. I called on a Monday and the guy, Andre spent 20 minutes leaving me on hold to get my questions answered. I asked the price for top and bottom and he said 250.00. I asked was he sure that was for both. I waited for 10 minutes for him to ask the lady that would be doing them. He came back to the phone and said yes. He then tried to schedule me for the next day. 2 days later I was there and got my lashes done. After the top lashes were complete I asked the lady about the bottom lashes. More than 2 hours had passed for the top said. She said they did not offer bottom lashes. I was upset to say the least. I went down and complained to the same man with the accent (Andre?) whom I spoke to. Andre's response was..."Sorry. $250.00". I should not have paid but I did. BEWARE: They will tell you anything to get you there. My lashes look only a slight thicker and it was not worth half of what I paid. more

I planned to have the talent of Charles Grayson Salon help me on my wedding day, and I couldn't have been more excited. I met with Marc 2 1/2 months before my wedding day to plan everything out, and he seemed to be just as excited as I was. When I asked him about a contract, he said not to worry about it. However, about 3 weeks later (now less than 2 months before my wedding day), he decided that he didn't want to help me out. He only told me this after I had emailed him with some questions. Not quite sure why he did this, because he didn't tell me that, but his lack of professionalism was awful. This salon may be great for other things, but do not use them for your wedding day, espcially Marc. more

I have been a client of Charles Grayson for over 10 years. However, in the past year my experience with them has been poor. The gentlemen who used to do my hair and I used to let him do what he wanted to me left me sit for 1/2 hour without even recogizing that I was waiting for him. When you spend $200.00 for a cut and color you have an expectation of service. I have waited in the past with a don't worry about it, but at least acknowlege that I am sitting there waiting for you. I have stayed with the gal who waxes my brows until today. Again crappy service from this overpriced salon. I show up to find that Beth has gone home. Though they indicated a message was left upon my return to the office I called my house to discover no message that she wasnt going to make my appointment. My advice is go to Modern Salon if you want an uber upscale salon, but if you want someone who does a great job in your hair go to Salon Collage, see Stephanie Moss. My BF sent me to have a "Charles Grayson Experience". I chose a deep tissue massage for 1 hour and mineral wrap. I started on time in a very serene environment. The facility was clean and staff was very helpful. The masseuse worked magic on my back, neck and wrist. I felt like a new person after I left her table. I was told that I may fall asleep during the session. That was not possible because of the noise that must have been coming from the salon area. Next I had a mineral wrap. That was an amazing experience. I was coated in an exfoliating scrub and seaweed minerals. Then wrapped like a soft taco. I spent 20 mins wrapped tight on a heated table. That is when I fell asleep. Overall it was an amazing experience. I typcially have severe dry skin. The affects of the mineral wrap lasted a full 4 days. That alone is worth my return. But maybe during a less busy time when things are more quite. more

What a wonderful facility!! Everything was fabulous from customer service to the detailed services i received from everyone i saw at charles grayson!! Kathleen did my waxing Nicole for my hair and Elizabeth for my pedicure!! All three were the most detailed in skill and really cared and listened to what I really wanted!! Wonderful experience!!!! Will be going back soon!!! more

I recently had a massage at this spa but was a bit disappointed in the treatment provided by their staff. However, I plan to book another massage with a different person, who my friend highly recommends! more

I made an appt. at Charles Grayson salon I have to say the level of customer service went over and beyond my expectations, I tried a new stylist there who cut my hair in layers and did a FABULOUS JOB! Her name is Tracy and she worked a miracle on my hard to straighten hair! i had to write this review because i was so impressed by the whole team and salon as a whole! I visited this spa with a friend for their Signature Pedicure. With the exception of the front desk associates, the staff was not very friendly. The atmosphere was less than spa-like because of the noise level (people talking... mostly staff). The best part was that my friend and I got to sit side by side for our pedicures and got to enjoy each others company during the treatment. The pedicure was okay, but I would not recommend paying that much for a pedicure at this spa when you can get the same experience and atmosphere at a nail salon and pay half the price. In fact, I have had better pedicures, service and a better atmosphere at my local nail salon. more

I love Charles Grayson b/c they do the BEST job on my hair. I have blonde hair and I am really picky about the shades, but Charles Grayson has the best tones and best products. Their hair color stays in for at least 4 months, and they sell Pureology (best hair care shampoo and conditioner after your hair is highlighted/lowlighted/all-over-colored). LOVE 'EM! Having naturally curly hair can be a nightmare when it comes to chosing a hair stylist, however very shortly after moving to Charlotte- I found Marc! After about a year of cuts, Marc left his previous place of employment and left me dumbfounded! After years of searching and finally giving up, a friend of mine located Marc which sent me to Charles Grayson. I had never heard of the spa/salon, but they were very quick in booking a much missed appointment with my long lost Marc! I have only used the salon services, but I am always greated with a smile and treated so kind. If you have curly hair, I would definitley recommend giving Marc a try. Having very long curly hair himself, Marc knows what it takes to cut the curls and WILL NOT allow you to get a cut that your hair won't handle. I love and trust Marc and look forward to trying some of the other services that Charles Grayson offers. more

I loved this spa. Everything about it was totally awesome. I traveled 3 hours to get there and it was worth every mile. I got the Oasis Getaway. I was pampered from 10 am to 5 pm. Everyone that I met or even passed by me was very helpful and made me feel like a queen. Mary Ellen gave me a wonderful pedicure and manicure. She soaked my hands and feet in the best mud bath ever. Sarah's massage is the most enjoyable experience that I have ever encountered. I will definitely go see her again. Kathleen's facial made my skin feel like brand new. Ashley made my hair look like a movie star. Cynthia's makeup made me feel very beautiful. Thanks ladies for all that you did to make me feel so special. This whole experience was a mistake because now I am addicted. I can not wait to make my next appointment. more

I was referred to Charles Grayson by a close friend of mine. I came in for a consultation and was very hesitant to trust someone else with my hair for I have been going to the same stylist for 8 years now. The lady I went to was younger and AMAZING!!!! She did exactly what asked for and I couldn't have wanted anything else! My hair is so easy to style now she talked me through new ways of styling it. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff was very modern, trendy, looked great and friendly!!!! Pros: friendly, very skilled, knowledgeable, dressed well. Cons: parking, no signage telling where salon is. more

It was our special day and my husband decided to give me a nice, relaxing spa day before we tie the knot. I had my hair styled and a manicure/pedicure. What a disaster! The hair stylist put so much product in my hair that it was stiff and it still unraveled and fell flat before i walked down the aisle. The person who did my nails acted as if i was inconveniencing her with my wedding day because i wanted my nails perfect.
