Great food! Great service! Great ambiance! We ordered the tableside presentations for two- Ceasar salad and chateaubriand. Best Ceasar salad I've ever had and the steak was so tender it could be cut with a fork! The server was wonderful and attentive. And you can't beat the wine selection anywhere! Pros: great food & great service Cons: none that we found! more

Outstanding Food, Chic Atmosphere. This is the place to go if you want a cosmopolitan feel coupled with creative and flavorful food. Extensive wine and cocktail options. Very knowledgeable waitstaff......sometimes they will even mix your cocktails tableside. Open kitchen, 3 story wine wall, exposed brick, and intersting lighting throughout (lights on the main floor change colors every few seconds). Great place for a romantic night and a special occasion. Incredible!!!!! 8/16/2005

Too Bad those other reviews are so old!! We visited Cypress, as we do any time we go to Charleston,last spring and again last week. The food gets better and better each time. We have dined there for years. It is always a highlight of our trip. The clean open kitchen with professional staff is amazing to view from the bar upstairs. The Food and wine staff are amazing and the epitome of southern hospitality. And the deserts!!! The best vanilla bean creme brulee ever! The atmosphere is very chic with a three story wine wall and interesting lighting. The best part is that the staff is so knowledgeable and fun. I highly recommend this unique restaurant! Hosted a dinner party for six people. Service was great, the food was nothing short of outstanding and the price was through the roof. This is a once- a-year restaurant and don't forget your plastic. Pros: FOOD, SERVICE, WINE SELECTION Cons: , COST, COST more
