Editorial review from LilaGuide.com 4/3/2005

CSC is more expensive that other museums in the area but I guarantee your kids will love it. There's something for everyone 2-52. Staff can be hard to find and the place can get chaotic on the weekends. Try to go early mornings during the week to avoid peak crowds and get the most bang for your buck. more

This place is fun and educational. My husband and I would go and play in all of the exhibits even before we had our son! more

Editorial review from LilaGuide.com 3/27/2005

There is a WONDERFUL infant/toddler area on the top floor. The miniature railroad is awesome and the conductor always lets my son blow the whistle. If you can, purchase the annual membership...it has saved us lots of money each year. more

Very good. I loved the science center myself. It was a little crowed. But that was our fault for going on the weekend, next time we'll be sure to go during the week. more

Center Yourself on Carnegie Science 8/8/2002

The Carnegie Science Center has everything from sports to aquatic animals. You can find just about anything there. One of the best features is the omnimax theater. It lets you see everything from a different view. It was a bit crowded and the lines for its few rides were a bit long, but most things aren't rides and therefore don't have lines. The food was tasty, but a bit expensive. The facilities are clean and there is so much to do that you won't have time to do it all. Pros: attractions, inexpesive, good parking Cons: crowded, not enough bathrooms, rides are money more

simply: omnimax 8/7/2002

The omnimax alone is worth the trip, then theres the massive aquarium on the third floor, planetarium and laser shows, a must see for museum enthusiasts or anyone wanting a good time in pittsburgh, be sure to tour the USS Requium, submarine docked on the north shore) Pros: Imax theater, simple layout, submarine tours Cons: getting there=tricky more

Lots of fun 7/27/2002

Lots of fun for everyone. All sorts of neat things to play with and investigate- not just for kids. The weekend laserium shows are definitely worth checking out Pros: fun, clean Cons: expensive more

It Blinded Me With Science 7/21/2002

Great time for kids and adults. Enjoyed the kitchen theater immensely. Pros: Hands-on, free parking, kitchen theater Cons: doesn't sell aspirin more
