Bad business. 7/30/2011

I called to try to schedule an appointment for my regular hair stylest. I was told he was no nonger at this location and they with held his new location information from me. i pefer the same person to do my hair that knows what i like. After 7 years doing business with canyon falls pedicures , facials, massage .. I will no longer be returning. This is bad business and I thought someone who rents a station is entitled to their own busines. This company should forward information to his clients!This is so wrong ! My Salon Experience Rating: A+ 7/28/2010

I received a gift certificate some time ago. This salon and spa were reviewed very favorably here, so I thought I'd give it a go. After procrastinating on getting a haircut for weeks, I realized I should get one ASAP with school starting again in a few days and the hectic schedule that goes along with it. I called at a quarter 'til 5, and the receptionist was able to schedule a 5:30 appointment for me. Joanna did an amazing job in washing, cutting, and styling my hair. She was precise and thorough. All the staff I encountered were courteous and professional. The facilities were clean, spacious, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. The prices are also very reasonable. I'd definitely come again. more

this spa was very clean, the massage rooms were very nice but small. i enjoyed the massage greatly. the manager (i think david) was VERY helpful and kind. they have great deals for all spa packages! i also liked that the hair stations were stalls and had some privacy not like most salons today where they are all open and everyone can see your business. it could be updated a bit but the prices are GREAT! more

Great place to be pampered 5/25/2010

I was in Las Vegas the week of May 10, 2010 and wanted to find a place that a friend and I could enjoy a spa day. I came across Canyon Falls Day Spa on the Spa Finder website, and because of the good reviews, I decided to book 2 "Queen for a Day" packages. I was a little apprehensive because the prices were so much lower than any of the casino hotel spas we were looking at, but we both decided to go for it. Man, am I glad we did. We were served wine and strawberries as soon as we signed in. The massage was one of the best swedish massages I've ever had...even comparing it to the ones I've had at the high dollar spas. The facial was so refreshing, and the mani/pedi was awesome. If I get the chance next time I am in Vegas, I will definitely visit this spa again. more

Canyon Falls Saved The Day 3/31/2010

A wedding day is stressful enough without having to deal with all the small details. I had a last minute disaster with my bridal up do at another salon and just happened to drive past Canyon Falls while I was in tears. My new styleist took what looked like a birds nest and turned it into a beautiful classy hairstyle any bride would be happy to have. I've been going back ever since. Great Massage 3/31/2010

I've had a lot of massages in my day but I have to say that this place has the best massage therapists around. My boyfriend and I each had an hour and a half Swedish massage with Shawn and Cherie (I think those are the names) and we were in heaven. From the calming atmosphere to the way they knew just how to find our problem areas. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to go back and see what else they have to offer Pros: Best massage I've ever had, great service Cons: Spa is a bit noisy but it's nothing serious more

My friends and I chose Canyon Falls on a whim and were not disapointed. We each had splash promos which included a massage, a facial, a manicure and a haircut. I left looking and feeling amazing!!! more

What a great place!! 2/26/2010

My husband and I were in town for a convention, and after a long day of walking around and sitting through presentations we thought we could both use a little relaxation. We came across Canyon Falls on the website and noticed that it was very close to the Mandalay Bay were we were staying (approx. a 10 min. drive) and their prices were significantly lower than the hotel spa/salon. We both purchased their King/Queen for a day package which included a 60 min. massage, 60 min. facial, and a mani/pedi. Every service was amazing! I had Eliane for my facial; Shawn for my massage, and Ericfor my mani/pedi. My husband had Chareese for his massage, Julie for hisfacial, and Denise for his mani/pedi. I saw that their salon was very busy as well and inquired about the prices to get a cut and color at the front desk. The two managers, Matt and Adam, were very accomodating and said since I had gotten the packages they were going to give me 25% off my hair service. I left looking and feeling great! I would recommend this to any of my friends and I'll definetely be headed back next year! more

I love this place 2/20/2010

I treated my friend and I to a manicure/pedicure here a few weeks ago and I was very pleased with the serivce. They have a private spa pedicure room that I would highly recommend asking for, and the nail-techs were amazing. I couldn't be happier with my nails! After my pedicure I decided to check out the hair selection in Sunny's and purchased a pack of clip in extentions that I love. Pros: great overall service Cons: none that I can think of more

Excellent skin care 2/20/2010

I have very sensetive skin and every facial i have ever had has been a disaster, until I went to Canyon Falls. My skin care person was incredably knowledgeable and put me right at ease, shareing with me some techniques and different products I could try on my skin, while providing a truely relaxing expierence. When I left my skin looked and felt amazing for the first time ever. I will definately be going back. Pros: terrific staff, affordable prices. Cons: Lobby was a bit crowded, so I had to wait to be helped. more

Best Spa Day Ever 2/20/2010

My husband recently bought me package from here and I have to say this is the best spa/salon I've ever been to. When I first stepped into Canyon Falls I was greeted by the gentleman up front with a smile and immediately felt right at home. They set me up in a private room with fresh flowers, ripe strawberries, champagne, and chocolate. I didn't wait long before my massage therapist took me into my first treatment, and before I knew it I was on cloud nine. The rest of the day was perfect down to the last detail. I only wish it could have lasted longer. Pros: great staff, service and expierence. Cons: none more

Complete Transformation 1/22/2010

This place was perfect for a girlfriend and I. We treated ourselves to the SPLASH promotion and tried out their services. Our packages included a manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, and a haircut! We were treated to such a great experience by all of the employees, I can't wait to bring my relatives in when they come in to town. I would give this place 5 stars. It's hard to decide which service we liked the best! Pros: You can get your nails, hair, and skin care in one place! Cons: Slightly noisy in the spa, but nothing irritating more

hair nightmare 1/5/2010

I went for perm. .The girl said she never used that perm before and had to read the directions first. The result was a disaster. I had no curl at all just fly away fried hair. I asked for a refund, Owner refused.Then he said he would refund my money if the girl would admit this was the first time she ever used that type of perm. She lied and said she used it many times and then she refused to discuss it further and walked away. After much arguing the owner gave me a certificate for several deep conditiionings which did nothing and a face wax that resulted in several skin burns around my eyes.The owner could care less if his clients are satisfied. I will never go here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I gave the lowest possible rating.They don't even deserve one star. Pros: free facial wax instead of refund Cons: hot wax burnt my skin and left marks more

This Place Rocks! 8/11/2009

I have had some really bad experiences in the past couple of years with hair extensions. I work in the night life industry and I am frequently changing extensions, I was about to just give up on them entirely until I found Canyon Falls. The hair stylist did everything right, was very friendly, and was reasonably priced! I've paid between up to $3000 for hair and service. I bought the hair at the location (which was the best price on quality hair i've ever seen 909/808/bohyme) and had it put in for under 1000. Obviously the price varies depending on how much you have put in but I couldn't be happier =) I will definetely be sending all my girlfriends here and would recommend any service there, especially extension services! Pros: Technicians really know their stuff Cons: Facility is a little old but other than that, nothing. more

its really bad service 5/23/2008

well i recently got my hair done there i got some color and it turned out really bad its really orange and when i left the person that did my hair didn't even put the toner on my hair. afterwards i spoke to the manager and they wouldnt give me a refund . so i basically had to pay for my hair to get ruined. i dont think thats fair. im so mad . I treated two good friends to a spa package - facial/manicure/pedicure, as a birthday surprise. I called to schedule the appointment and was assisted by Adam, the king of customer service! Well, it only got better from there. After my friends left the spa they couldn't stop ranting and raving about what an awesome experience it was, how terrific everyone was, how great they felt, how much fun they had and how fantastic the whole thing was. They were both trying to talk at the same time to tell about who took care of them and how great each one treated them. So sweet and friendly just like a group of old friends getting together. They had barely left and were talking about wanting to go back again! I can't thank Adam and the wonderful staff at Canyon Falls Spa enough, for being so wonderful. I just scheduled another friend and this time I'm going too!! :) Pros: Customer service at it's very best, beautiful/relaxing and welcoming environment more

Best haircut of my life! 10/14/2006

I have curly hair, and it's hard for me to find a good stylist. Every time I get a haircut, I'm always disappointed. I got my hair cut by Freeda yesterday, and I am absolutely thrilled wtih the results. I will definitely be going back to see her. Pros: Great sylist, good price, parking Cons: None! more
