Best

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Reed's for over two years now. Each experience has been extremely positive. The staff is very good -- from the front desk to the hygenist...

Worst

I thought my family & i would try Dr Reed because of all the good reviews. I felt the cleaning of my teeth was very average - i like to have that really clean feeling after a dent...

Dr. Brannon Reed and his entire staff are amazing. I started an Invisalign case almost two years ago and the final results are amazing! My teeth are so straight and I receive compliments all the time. It was a long process, but every time I had to come in for an adjustment I was treated with a smile as soon as I opened the office door. Everyone was so helpful and professional on each visit. I also had some other work done on my teeth and the process was pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Brannon Reed to all my friends and family members. His office is beautiful and very clean, not to mention you can watch the golfers from the windows. Thank you so much Dr. Brannon Reed for such an incredible smile. Melissa A. more

In my book Dr. Reed is a devious uncaring son of Satan. Pay no attention to the testimonials on his website because they are filtered by him or you would see mine. I got a root canal, post and crown done by Reed in 2002 for $1530.00. The crown fell off but fortunately I still had it and he glued it back on. This is my only root canal. He said it may be a while before the sensitivity go's away. In 2003 I went back because it was always aching. He ground the tooth surface down and said try that. I went back in 2004 with an abscess on the gum above the tooth he gave the root canal and crown. While I was waiting to see him, one of the assistant's was prepping me and kept wiping her weeping eye. I asked her what's wrong ? She said it's just a stye and not contagious. I said stye's are very contagious. She said really I didn't know that and kept working . That kind of grossed me out. Then Reed came in and lanced the abscess and said common back if you get anymore bumps. Like it's no big deal. I asked if he could or would re do the root canal. He said no. He did not give me any other options so I thought removal of the tooth was my only other option. I continued getting abscesses more frequent and started popping them myself. I must have popped dozens. I found it's best to pop them while they are small. I was on antibiotics at least 4 times for them. Finally in 2007 I had enough aches and abscesses and was willing to get the tooth removed. I went back to Reed with an abscess to let him pop it for old time sake. He popped it and said he could do nothing else for me and I should see a specialist. First and only time he suggested it. Every time I went back with complications from the root canal, Reed would try to charge me a fee. I did not have insurance and was too stubborn to pay someone else to fix his work. In Jan.2010 I gave in and saw Ryan H. Engelberg. He suggested I get an apicoectomy which Reed never mentioned. This way I could keep the tooth and only the tip of the root would be removed. He wanted $1300 to do it and $140 just for that visit. I then went to Algodonez Mexico and had the apicoectomy done for $160 by oral surgeon Dr. Hector Ivan Gomez at the office of Dr. Ivan Gaspar. I have a scar from it. He documented a 1.5 mm file tip that had broken off in the mesial root and gave it to me to keep. I made a complaint to the dental board for compensation. The boards reason for turning me down was the surgeon was not a US citizen. In 2013 I was reluctantly seen by Reed. I showed him the statements from all the visits, the file tip and x rays. He said he would give me nothing because I took him to the board and it's been too long. What was too long was the years of misery thanks this man. I said shouldn't you measure the file you use for a root canal before and after the procedure to see if your leaving any file tips behind ? He said he did. I said then you knew you left a file tip in me and didn't say anything. Either Reed didn't bother measuring the file or he did and knew the tip broke off in me. Either way or anything in between is negligence. I measured the file tip and it is actually 2 mm long. That is significant enough not to miss. Any descent person would have mentioned out of all my 5 years of visits, that a file tip is or might be in me and that an apicoectomy could remove it. Every jaw that I have dropped believes I am entitled to some compensation from this man and I have gotten nothing. I would have taken Reed to small claims court but found out I only had 2 years to do it. I still want a refund. In reply to your reply you didn't suggest I see a specialist for 5 years because you knew what he would find. The dental board told me they do not recognize non-US citizens. The case has more merit than you do scruples or compassion. How can you advise me not to go to Mexico for treatment when I knew nothing about going for another 3 years ? more

DO NOT, DO NOT GO HERE!!!\r \r In 2007 I had $20,000 of dental work and Dr. Reed was proud to tell me I would have a ""dinner party"" smile.\r \r Now, I was in for my annual exam and the tech told me I had 3 cracks in these teeth.\r \r Dr. Reed blamed me!!\r \r ""You MUST be grinding you teeth"", was his answer. \r My wife was present and attested to that would NOT \r be the case.\r \r Dr Reed then said, ""I WON'T do anything until they fracture or break off"".\r What The French!!!!! Are you serious????\r \r The main problem was front and center, NOT hiding somewhere else!!!\r \r I mentioned that emergency dental work becomes a problem at the worst possible time like being in rural India.\r Dr. Reed's response???\r \r ""India would be good for you then, they have adequate dentistry"", seriously???\r \r When I contacted his office later in the day to query about what was in my record for todays cleaning and exam - \r I was told NOTHING WAS ENTERED ABOUT ANY CRACKS!!!!\r \r Curious that every other bit about the exam was noted.\r \r In MY humble opinion there are soooooo many other places in Scottsdale to spend one's $$$ for ANY dental work rather than with this man.\r \r WE WILL NEVER be back and hopefully others will consider my experience in making their choice of dentist. \r \r \r more

I thought my family & i would try Dr Reed because of all the good reviews. I felt the cleaning of my teeth was very average - i like to have that really clean feeling after a dentist trip. Before i could tell my husband, he actually told me his teeth don't feel clean. The receptionist was lovely - acted as though i had found a new best friend. We decided to find another dentst. I called to see if we could pick up our xrays and was told there would be a $25 p.p tranfer fee. ($100 for my family) I probably wouldn't have been so angry if i was made aware of this fee or if the girl at the front desk didn't lie to me....(she said i signed a form & when i asked her to send me the form which i signed.....was told i didn't actually sign a form but the dental board etc etc) I ended up getting the $100 xrays emailed to me....because i didn't trust this dentist anymore. Great Service, Friendly Staff 10/18/2010

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Reed's for over two years now. Each experience has been extremely positive. The staff is very good -- from the front desk to the hygenists to Dr. Reed himself. I've had multiple crowns put in place over this time with each experience being very positive. I had a temporary crown come off because of something I was eating -- Dr. Reed came in over the weekend and fixed the situation - he even had a smile on his face. more

Best Dental Office in North Scottsdale 9/22/2010

I just recently visited Dr. Reed's office for my six month cleaning appointment. Not only is Dr. Reed's office comfortable and calming, but his staff is by far the most professional and courteous group around. I wouldn't trust just anyone with my teeth. Even though the office location is quite convenient for me, I would follow him anywhere. I highly recommend Dr. Reed and his Staff for all of your dentistry needs. more
