Boris & Natasha

I absloutely love Boris + Natasha. I make sure that I take my new to town or out of town friends in there whenever we get the chance. It reminds me of the LA fashion scene, where I am from. Eclectic, versatile, unique pieces that you won't find at the mall. I am in love with their jewelry, but I am more in love with the shoes. I only wish they had a larger selection of shoes and bags. I'm a big girl, so the clothes are beautiful but not in my size. However, the staff is always helpful and nice to chat with. This is one of the fashion gems in Charlotte, I recommend a visit to anyone inerested in clothes that are individual and new! Pros: Great atmosphere, different labels, nice staff, layaway. This is a great place to go and kick it. They have some really beautiful clothing and some of my most colorful wardrobe pieces are from here. It's a great funky boutique with some gorgeous locally crafted jewelry. One of Charlotte's best. Pros: Great funky clothes and jewelry more

My first experience at Boris and Natahsa was DIVINE!!!! \r I have never been to a shop where the owner and her staff was so nice and helpful and the fact that they were so fashionable and innovative with their styles made me trust their advice with picking out the right clothes. I have no idea what CHICLADY and llphilo are talking about (please stay and shop at the mall), I think they're the type of customers that feel that they are entitled to everything when their shopping anyways thats beside the point.\r \r I will always return to Boris + Natasha because they offer clothes you can't find in Charlotte. I am a frequent customer of their's and everytime I walk through the door, the staff always says hello and I always get a hug from Hope (the owner), and also get a hug from the store's dog, Phoebe!!! \r There is no other place I would rather shop at. They offer exceptional customer service, rare accessories, and quality items. The best place to shop!!! Pros: great staff, great environment, amazing selection! more

the woman that owns this place is amazing. her sense of style and buying abilities are so far beyond anyone else's capabilites as a buyer that i have ever encountered. what a divine selection of such amazingly unique pieces!! anything you purchase at boris + natasha, you are SURE to receive a compliment when you wear it. she only buys one or two pieces of each garment, so you don't have to worry about seeing it on someone else! AND AS FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE: everyone is so incredibly helpful, know what they are talking about when they help you put together an outfit. no BS at this place! they tell you like it is, and won't send you home looking like a clown, nor will you look like you dressed yourself from the mannequins at BEBE. its perfect, and if you want to look cute- go to Boris + Natasha!!!!!! I love this store. And in my opinion the customer service is fantastic. The owner actually steered me toward a pair of jeans in the clearance section that I would have paid full price for otherwise. I think the selection is fantastic and unique to Charlotte, and I will go back again and again. more

..which is a shame, because I really WANTED to like Boris & Natasha. The clothes selection wasn't bad, but I think it was overhyped. A few interesting pieces, nothing I really wanted. Definitely on the pricey side, but as someone else pointed out, no more than you would pay at most other places. So as far as the clothes go, it's a matter of personal taste and how much you're wanting to spend. \r \r What turned me off is that I also experienced a complete lack of customer service. I generally like to be left alone when I shop, but I expect at least a smile and a head nod from an employee when I enter a store. Maybe it a was a bad day? Who knows.\r \r I won't be going back, but it's the kind of place that merits at least one visit, if just for the fact it's a little different. Just don't get your hopes up. I have shopped at Natasha and Boris twice and both of my experiences have been GREAT!!!! I love her choice of jewelry, shoes and other accessories. And not to mention she carries some VERY hard to find brands in NC, i.e. Anna Sui.\r \r Pros: Great variety of accessories Cons: Not a lot of parking more

I don't know what the crazy lady was talking about in that last revie!! First off, their selection is awesome, particularly for guys. Charlotte has almost no places where men can find high-fashion, fun, trendy clothes, excepting Boris and Natasha, of course. They recently more than doubled the size of their store and their selection has greatly improved. They carry quite a bit of Ben Sherman and Penguin clothes, but also a lot of lesser-known brands. Regarding the staff, they're probably the most friendly, outgoing, helpful retail clothing staff I've ever encountered. They always remember me and when I walk in and if the owner's in, she'll immediately know of 7 or 8 different new things she got in that would look great on me. She's a master salesperson (much to my checking account's chagrin) and truly has a knack for customer service and pairing the right clothes with the right person. I highly recommend this store! I was very disappointed about my vist to store, especially since I heard they had a cool selection of clothing.. First of all the sales staff totally did not acknowledge my presence in store. BIG NO NO!! Then after perusing through store I did not see the excitement. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!! I would rather go to the Mall and shop and Iam not a Mall shopper.. i think they give boutique's a bad rep. more
