Yes! I couldnt believe it! After my bridesmaids picked up their dresses, one called me from where she was having it altered and asked me if all the other girls had the same problem as her? She told me that the dress was longer in the front than in the back by at least 3 inches and this was a dress that went to the floor. I called the Blushing Bridal Shoppe and explained what happened to ALL the dresses. The manager giggled a little and told me it must be because my bridesmaids have big butts. I said I know I have a big butt, but my bridesmaids dont! I tried to explain to the manager that this is a huge problem if the bridesmaids are walking down the isle holding their boquet in one hand and holding onto a groomsmans arm, what are they going to hold up their dress with? I said all my girls are going to fall on their faces walking down the isle if they cant afford the costly alterations! The manager told me all the girls would have to come in together so they could look at it and then the dresses would have to go back to the manufacturer. I explained their was no way that was going to happen because my girls have other things going on, and it was less than a week before the wedding! I ordered my dress from blushing bride 9 month's before my wedding date and was told that I would recieve it in 4 months and it is now 7 months and I still have not recieved it or a refund to get a new dress. I am getting the run around from them and the company they ordered it from that it is lost and that they or the company are not reliable for this that it is the shipping company's fault.. I WOULD NOT ORDER ANYTHNG FROM THEM. THEY WILL TURN THIS TIME THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE FUN, EXCITING AND A TIME TO REMEMBER INTO A NIGHTMARE. Everything that can go wrong with a wedding goes wrong at the Blushing Bridal Shoppe. I cannot fit the novel of mistakes and excuses given by this shop on this website. However, I will share one nightmare. One of my bridesmaid dresses was crookedly sewn together. Instead of helping me find a solution, the manager accused my bridesmaid of having a ruptured disk in her spine which caused the dress to look crooked. She then demanded that I pay for that dress. This is not a joke. I just wanted to share this with everyone to show the seriousness of how poor Blushing Bridal's management and customer service is. Mishaps are going to happen in every wedding. Please don't let these mistakes happen at Blushing Bridal. This shop only wants your money and will fight you until they get it. Go somewhere else and enjoy your day! I had a pleasant experience while shopping at the Blushing Bride Shoppe. I am a bride from out of state who is planning a long distance wedding in the Milwaukee area and had no problems getting quality dresses (Jordan brand) in a timely manner for my bridesmaids. This shop is one of few that schedules appointments on busy Saturdays for dress shopping. Because of this, all five of the six bridesmaids able to attend were treated with the staff's undivided attention. I was even able to purchase their shoes at 50% off! Great savings. The only need of improvement during my experience at the store is the atmosphere. From what I understand, renovation will soon be in the works. A fresh coat of paint on the outside of the store along with new carpeting will be a definite plus. I would recommend this store to friends and family. All brides-to-be deserve to know about The Blushing Bridal Shoppe and how they will crush your dreams of a beautiful wedding, as they have mine. If something goes wrong with your orders, they will refuse to help you unless their manufacturing companies give them their money back first. The Blushing Bridal Shoppe is not there to make our day special; they are out to take our money. In the end, I was forced to utilize the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency against The Blushing Bridal Shoppe in order to get any kind of refund for misshapen dresses in which I received not once, but twice from them. I was forced to make drastic, last second changes within two weeks of my wedding because of absolutely no cooperation or customer service from this shop. They work super hard for your sale but after that no customer service. We had many things go wrong (3 late arrivals, ordered wrong dresses twice, could not order a vail) and they blamed us or their vender. Even when there was make up on a brand new dress still it wasn't their fault!! I asked for a discount because of this and they took it in their back room and took the makeup out and said "We got it out so we will give you nothing because if we gave everyone a discount because something goes wrong we would go out of bisness" I think that says it all and it came out of their own mouths!!
