This little neighborhood restaurant in Greenfield is a favorite with my inlaws.
'Portion control' is a phrase of which the cooks in this restaurant do not know the meaning. Do not patronize Big Jim's if you've eaten recently, or you will be taking most of your meal home with you. Prices of meals are very resonable, and there are lots of sandwiches to choose from. We've had very little wait times for our food and we've never had a problem with our orders.
There really is no ambiance - sparse decorations, although the waitstaff is friendly. The past several times we have been here it has been quite smoky, so I would not recommend bringing babies or small children here.
