Don't forget the dog run at 193rd Street near the playground. It is wonderful for dog owners--not to mention those who like to see a bunch of healthy, happy, well-loved dogs. If you have a dog, take him there to socialize him, and meet lots of friendly dog owners who will also try to answer any questions you have about dogs. more

Summer events at the park! 8/7/2005

I live very close to Cunningham Park. There still is the NYC tennis courts I used to go when I was in high school. By the courts, is the park. The park is located at Francis Lewis Blv. and 73rd Ave. There's parking all along the side of the park and across the streets. You always find various local teams using the park. Every summer there is a music event. This summer the NY Philharmonic held a concert in mid July for free! It's a great opportunity to bring the kids for a day of fun and music. Who doesn't want to catch the NY Philharmonic Concert for free and fireworks at night? more
