Too expensive!!! 10/13/2011

Prices are too exprensive and when I was quoted a cost for a service, it was not honored. Final total was over double what was quoted. According to the vet, I was told the wrong price by a new staff person, but she still would not change it. Day boarding at local vet office - $12. Half a day boarding at this office - $29. Outrageous and zero customer service when it counts. I wanted to really them but can't. Go somewhere else! more

Dr. Bennett is the vet I trust 8/23/2005

I started taking my dog to Dr. Bennett shortly after she opened her practice. She has always been extremely thorough in her treatment of him. My dog is now an extremely healthy and vibrant senior citizen. I know I can count on Dr. Bennett to work with me to keep him that way and deal with any health issues we may encounter. She also treated my elderly ferret years ago (she no longer treats ferrets or other exotics). When his health dictated that euthanasia was the only humane option, she handled both me and my beloved pet with such respect and caring, I will never forget it. I would not dream of taking my dog (or any future dogs) to any other vet. more

Pet care at human standards 8/17/2005

Beaver Lake Animal Hospital has been around since 1997. To call it a "hospital" is a bit overblown. Dr. Bennett is the only vet on staff (and owns the place). There are two examination rooms, but a full operating room in the back. Dr. Bennett was educated at Washington State University, which may make it hard for a Husky to take his pets there, but you get over it when you realize how good she is. We initially took our yellow lab to a chain vet in Issaquah, but were dissatisfied by the lack of personal attention and some serious misdiagnosis when she was a puppy. Dr. Bennett set the record straight and although she claims to not be available for emergencies she'll often check messages when the clinic is supposed to be closed. Beaver Lake Animal Hospital is a memer of the American Animal Hospital Association, which sets standards for animal care and facility cleanliness. http://www.beaverlakeah.com more
