Can be noisy, but once your desserts arrive, the sound will fade.

If you go on the weekend, expect a wait, especially if the weather is decent.
Prices are a bit high for fast food, but the portions are large
Atmosphere is very authentic - reminds me of the little burger joints we would stop at on road trips to eastern Washington when I was a kid.

Although most people don't consider ferrets to be exotic pets, they do have some special health needs. The Exotic Pet & Bird Clinic in Kirkland has the knowledge and experience to treat ferrets and other exotics.
The vets are gentle and caring, as is the rest of the staff.
They are open on Saturdays which is a big help for me. They can be a bit hard to find, since they are in an office park that you wouldn't expect to have a vet clinic.
Judging from the photo albums of clients and thank you notes, I am not the only who is happy with them.

InSpa is a great place if you just want to get a manicure, pedicure or waxed on a regular basis for appearance. They are very hygienic and the prices are great, especially once you factor in the no tipping policy.
However, if you after relaxation, go elsewhere. It's generally noisy and they don't really have a typical "spa" atmosphere.
Staff is generally friendly and good at what they do, but some are definitely better than others.
This is true of the Bellevue Square location as well.

The Inn at Langley is a great romantic destination. The rooms all face the water and have deep soaking tubs with water views.
Great comfy furniture - we went during the summer, but would love to come back in the winter - it would be a perfect place to watch the winter weather and curl up with a book.
The dinner is amazing - the desserts are especially good.
Location makes it an ideal weekend get-away from Seattle. Not too far to drive, but far enough to feel like a vacation.
Nice continental breakfast on the morning.

My husband and I used to eat at Wasabi Bistro for lunch quite often. When I needed a large takeout order of sushi for a work event, I immediately thought of them.
While there for lunch, I asked to speak to the manager on duty. I asked her if they would be able to provide a large takeout order that would be picked up at 4:30pm. She said of course, just call us about 1 1/2 hours ahead the day you need it.
The day of the work event, I called at 3pm to put in my order. The same manager I spoke to in person takes my call. I tried to give her my order and am told that the sushi chef is not there until 5pm, so I won't be able to pick up my order until 6:30. This will not work at all for the event we have planned. I ask her if this is always the case, and she replies yes. I ask her why she told me that they would be able to have our order ready for us at 4:30pm when I asked her in person.
This is where she completely lost me as a customer. She proceeded to tell me that she NEVER would have told me that they could have an order ready at 4:30 and that no one there would. I told her that she had and that my husband was standing right next to me and heard it as well. At this point, she pretty much told me I was a liar and there was nothing she was going to do to help me.
I asked her if she knew of any sushi restaurants nearby that would be able to get me my order and she flatly said no.
I finally ended up at Sam's Sushi on lower Queen Anne, who was able to put together a large order at the last minute.
Despite the tasty food, I will never eat there again. There are some many points that the manager could have saved the situation - maybe an apology? - but instead she decided to extremely rude.

Located in a beautifully restored historic building, Robertiello's has an ambiance to suit many situations. My husband and I have had wonderful romantic meals there, even as large family groups dined at the same time. There is a wonderful fireplace in the bar that you can eat your meal beside.
The food is made with fresh, high quality ingredients, which is reflected in the meals. The menu is varied enough to make everyone happy and the portion sizes are quite large.
The staff is attentive and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and obviously love to eat the food served here themselves.
The owners are frequently found working the front or the bar. By our second visit, we were recognized and greeted warmly.
If you are staying at the Salish, Robertiello's is a scenic 15 minute drive away.

My dog has been going to Debbie's Grooming for 7 years. He goes every month and looks forward to seeing all his groomer friends.
I've recommended Debbie's to several friends, who have all become regular customers.
We recently moved to Snoqualmie, but I still drive every month to Renton just so he can go to Debbie's. They love him like he is family and they treat everyone that way.

I started taking my dog to Dr. Bennett shortly after she opened her practice. She has always been extremely thorough in her treatment of him.
My dog is now an extremely healthy and vibrant senior citizen. I know I can count on Dr. Bennett to work with me to keep him that way and deal with any health issues we may encounter.
She also treated my elderly ferret years ago (she no longer treats ferrets or other exotics). When his health dictated that euthanasia was the only humane option, she handled both me and my beloved pet with such respect and caring, I will never forget it.
I would not dream of taking my dog (or any future dogs) to any other vet.
