Soundsations in Issaquah has the best selection of stickers, novelty items and CDs and records. The owner is always so friendly and goes out of his way to remember your name and welcome you. He can order anything you cant find there. They also have a good selection of magazines. Its conveniently located off of Gilman and has good hours.

These are guided rides, and i haven't been there in a few years, but when we rode there previously (6 times total) it was always enjoyable. You ride up Tiger Mountain and around up top and then back down. Doubt there are any places near Seattle that just set you free on your own - all that I know of are guided.

Sammamish Club has a policy against kids using swimming equipments unless you sign up for their classes. Their policy is
arbitrary and discriminatory at many times. Some of their
showers and lockers are broken and towels are dirty at times. If you are going to swim with your child, but not going to take their swim lessons, pass on them. Shame on them! They were kids once.
Not recommended for families!!!"

Bark Park in Issaquah highlands is the first off leash park in Issaquah. It has about 2 acres of land enclosed with a fence to let your dog run wild. there are large rocks for the humans to sit on, there is also a water fountain for humans and for dogs to get their fluids. There are poop bags provided. Great place to take your dog to burn off energy if you don't want to drive to marymoor or mercer island.

G.I Joes is a giant sports store.. Its a little different than say Sports authority or big 5... It carries a lot of things like base ball bats, and weights and other sports things, but mainly specializes in camping and hunting and fishing gear if you asked me.. They have a lot of tents and pans and other items for when camping. Their prices aren't too bad in comparison to others, I'd say the only real thing they offer different from major sports stores is they don't try to carry everything, just a little bit of the most important things. Not a bad place to look for camping and the like gear!

Creekside Angling is off Gilman in Issaquah at the end of the strip mall against I-90. The gear selection tends toward the middle of the road in terms of quality, but thre are so many options you're bound to find something you need unless you have your mind made up before you enter.
The staff are knowledgeable about both local options (the Snoqualmie River and forks, west side lakes including the old Wyerhaueser property) as well as the rivers and lakes on the east side of the mountains as far east as Ellensburg.

My first experience with foot zone was up in college in bellingham. Foot zone has a lot of running shoes for the serious runner to select from. They also have walking shoes. They carry gear for runners, such as, refectlive vests, key holders etc. The issaquah store does not have this but the bellingham store had a clearance closet that had a ton of shoes that were on clearance, thats where i got all my shoes in college.

So far I've taken my motorbike there twice and both times I was impressed with the friendly and experienced staff doing the work right there and at a reasonable cost. Now I don't have a Kawasaki myself, I have a Honda, but so long as I go and get the parts from down the other end of Gilman then everyone's happy - sure they offered to get them for me and maybe next time I'll let them do that (but I can get parts a lot cheaper online).
Anyway if you've got a bike that needs a bit of work, try these guys, recommended with no hesitation.

I recently paraglided tandem at Tiger Mt. I really enjoyed the views of Mt Ranier , Lake Sammamish, and Surrounding area. It was cool to fly with an eagle and float quietly a few hundred feet over the mountain tops. Its best if you can go a sunny or party cloudy day. Seattle area paragliding tandem instructor John did a great job and ai got some great pictures while flying tandem. All I had to do was run a few steps and the tandem pilot got us flying adn landed us safely.
