Best

We went here for a close friends wedding, it is a beautiful place, the food was delicious, the staff could not do enough for everyone. It's a great hotel but if any of you are lo...

Worst

I never suspected that steak frites could be so bad. My steak was grey and overcooked. The fries weren't fries at all, but rather fried potato strips that looked like they should ...

Most Romantic Spot in Paris 4/16/2006

When Andrea Boccelli's voice bursts across the strip with the fantastic view of Bellagio's fountains, it truly is a Kodak moment. Go with your lover and enjoy the 5 star cuisine. Steak, fish or potatoes - you can't go wrong with either. Have been 3 times and go every time i am in Vegas. You must arrive early to book a table on the patio, but it is worth the wait. more

Great food, great view 3/29/2006

We went for dinner on a Sat night w/out reservations. The hostess was embarrassingly rude, I think because we had three children with us. She said we could be seated on the patio as if it would deter us. It was July, so that was great. The food was excellent, the view of the Bellagio water show, wonderful and entertaining. The waiter was really upset about how we were treated by the hostess, but it wasn't his fault. I would go back in a heartbeat! This place is great! Pros: Food, view, service Cons: hostess more

Great 4 lunch, skip the fries! 1/3/2006

I love love love this place at lunch....try and dine in the antrium where it is sunny but air conditioned! They serve you glasses of wine from a french wine bucket, nicely iced! Problems, the fries are horrid! Quel horreur! They are not pommes frites as we know them, here or in France. What they do well is steak, salads, warm french bread and the service is perfect for this style restaurant. Friendly and expedient, and not too formal. Don't go for dinner, it is way to dark and the atmospeher does not translate well to evening. Pros: lunch, service, view Cons: fries, dinner more

very nice dinner 12/31/2005

The place was packed & we had to wait 30 min. even w/ reservations. When I inquired w/ hostess stand, they were extremely rude to the point that I almost walked away (the rest of my party was hungry though). Thankfully once seated, service was prompt & the atmosphere was that of a Paris bistro. We ordered endive salad, filet mignon, steak au poivre, & pork tenderloin accompanied by haricot verts, pureed & au gratin potatoes, and spinach sauteed w/ garlic. We were all pleasantly suprised by the quality of the meal. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted simply delicious. Service was credible but not spectacular, yet the meal was affordable (very nice for a mid-range dinner). The flavors were just right for a nice, flavorful dinner. Pros: fun atmosphere, great food Cons: long wait, rude hostesses more

incredible food..friendly service..beautiful view of Bellagio water show across strip..Loved the gas fired street lights...Highly recommend... Pros: outdoors, food, service more

The perfect place to go when you first arrive! 11/27/2005

Mon Ami Gabi was the first place we headed to after arriving, and relaxing on the patio on a warm November day for a late lunch while watching people walk up and down the strip was one of the highlights of our trip. The restaurant was very accomodating to my vegetarian husband and me by making the macaroni and cheese (a delicious, generous portion in a cast-iron pan) without ham. The half-loaf of bread in a paper sleeve was delightfully crusty. I wish we had visited a second time before leaving! Pros: The view, Large portions, Accomodating more

not bad for a quick lunch 11/7/2005

we usually finish off our trip here, run in for a quick lunch of oysters and scallops. there's nothing particularly special about this place, prices are a little high for what they're serving, but it's a nice place if you want to sit outside and watch the bellagio fountains or people watch. service is decent, too. Pros: outdoor dining, good oysters more

A Great Surprize 11/3/2005

This was a pleasant surprize. Wonderful atmosphere, great service, and excellent steaks. We especially enjoyed the baked onion soup, pomme frites and market tomato salad with green beans and basil. Hard to believe this gem is attached to a casino. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Allow time to enjoy the ambience whether you dine inside or outside. Pros: Romantic, Great Food, Outdoor Dining more

waiting for bill 9/7/2005

Ate there for dinner and everything was wonderful and then we sat there for 45 minutes after they cleared off our table no offer for dessert nothing for 45 minutes... I got up to leave made it to the matriD and then the waiter chased after me for the bill. I talked with the manager gave him my money and stood waiting10 minutes for my change then he brings back my original money but broken down like I would leave a tip since he covered my meal I don't think so Time is money and you wasted my time... Will not ever eat there again due to service.... Pros: great food, wonderful views Cons: expensive, no service more

Great Food 6/17/2005

We made a reservation for a large party (14) and was promptly seated just a few minutes after our scheduled reservation time. Though we did not sit outside (which I highly recommend), everyone did really enjoy the food. I had the Filet w/ merlot butter for $29.99 and I can honestly say that it was much better than many $80 steaks I've eaten before. My wife ordered the parmesan crusted fish and loved it! The dessert were fabulous, I highly recommend the creme brulee. Pros: great value, terrific food Cons: not enuf seat outside more

Every Chance We Get... 4/9/2005

We never visit Vegas without going to Mon Ami. It is a tradition. We like to hit it for a late lunch and sit outside to watch passer-byers and also the fountains across the street. Two things we get consistently are the Chocolate Mousse, and the Bananas Foster Crepes. Recently, a friend rated my mousse a 7 and the BFC's a 12. Our entree is usually something different each time and we've never been disappointed. Of course we always get at least a good bottle of something celebritory. Why not? We're in Vegas! Pros: desserts, view, service Cons: no breakfast, price more

Best outside dining in Vegas 11/3/2004

We're locals and this is a favorite place to take out of town guests. The food and service are great. Guests love to sit outside and enjoy the Bellagio watershow (which is just across the street). My only complaint is that - like everywhere on the strip - smoking is allowed which is a downer for non smokers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Pros: View, Food more

Must try! 8/9/2004

This is one of the ""must do"" experiences while in Vegas. There is nothing better than sitting outside on a warm, Vegas evening enjoying delicious Parisian fare while watching the Bellagio fountains and the rest of the Strip in all its glory. Try not to fill up on the delicious french bread with garlic butter and save room for great bistro food. Sure, there are a ton of places to eat that may be cheaper and may have less of a wait but none of them offer the experience of Mon Ami Gabi! Pros: View, Food, Ambience more

Fun and good food at 1/2 the price 7/17/2004

If you want a more ""casual"" break from the big hotel steakhouses...this is the place to go. The cut of meat is a ""notch below"" but the value, honest preparation of the food, superb service and exceptional wine list (value and choice) make this a great place for a fun dinner. Expect ""bistro noise""..so a romantic, candlelit dinner on the ""left bank"" it isn't...but a great menu...and a wonderful ambience make this a super value and a lot of fun. If you don't want to sit outside under the misters or in the heat...ask for table 102 and try to get Adriana to serve you. Pros: Value, Selection, Ambience more

GREAT PATIO LUNCH!! 7/6/2004

Stopped in for lunch and thoughly enjoyed myself! The salad was excellent, the service great, and the cost better than expected for sitting outdoors ON THE STRIP. Although I had a salad, we saw large sandwiches going by (and made me wish I wasn't in a healthy mood). We sat by the door so we were being air-conditioned while seated outside. Make sure you get a table under an umbrella and near the misters. Pros: People Watching, Good Value more

Sub-par 6/22/2004

I read reviews here and thought it'd be good. Wrong. I had the steak bordelaise (rare). The cut of meat was so thin it had no flavor itself because all it could do was soak up the bordelaise sauce, which I'd rename bordelaise garlic sauce (I enjoy garlic, but this was overpowering). Wife had the steak classique (medium), which was the same razor-thin, tasteless cut. Bread was not fresh, but simply reheated (as evidenced by the charred exterior and chewy texture). Onion soup was acceptable. Overall, the food was average to slightly below average, and definitely not worth the prices. more

Great view, staff & food too! 5/12/2004

Sit outside and get the best people watching view on the Strip. Also, the best for viewing the water fountain show at the Bellagio across the street. Our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the whole menu, including the wines. Huge wine by the glass list. They'll offer you a taste if you're not sure. Considering how everything in Vegas is overpriced, the steaks were a great value and tasty too. Pros: view, value, service more

Big Bang for Your Buck 4/29/2004

This was the most consistently outstanding food I had in Vegas. Every dish ordered at our table was a treat for the taste buds. Prices aren't bad. The ambiance is among the best to be had. Decor inside is authentically French brasserie. Outdoor seating allows you to enjoy those warm Vegas nights and take in the Bellagio fountain show while people watching. Don't miss this one! Pros: Great ambiance, Consistently tasty, Reasonably priced more

great choice! 3/11/2004

This restaurant not only has great service and wonderful views of the fountains at Bellagio (patio seating), but many choices and tasty food too. In chillier weather, the patio has outdoor heaters to keep it cozy. Pros: great views, good food, good service more

A Must Eat 12/26/2003

Simply put - the food was excellent and delivered to the table in a very timely manner. The service was incredible and the wine selection (and our waiters assistance with our selection was superb) was outstanding. The atmosphere was very romantic and relaxing - it may have been a little too dark, but not too bad. I definately reccommend a visit! Pros: Food, Service Cons: Price more
