I love this place! But it's not for everyone. The sandwiches and soups are basic but the flavor and portions are fantastic. It's not much to look at, it's an old bar...the bigscreen TV that probably hasn't worked in years is falling apart, everything around is clean but old. The decor is odd, partly a shrine to Mitza's hero John Elway, plenty of pictures of Vlade Divac who Mitza has known since he was a boy, part...hmm...how to describe?
Scott and Mitza are great, though and make up for the rough edges of the building. They'll invite you to play a free game of pool in the back while you're waiting for a large order or Mitza will give you the tour of the pictures of her grandkids.
Definitely worth a try.
Pros: Food, Treated like family, Quirky
Cons: Old Building
