Arizona Hair Co

I have always gone to the Tempe Marketplace location. However, after my hair stylist moved out of state, I decided to try out this location. I live in N. Scottsdale and figured I'd give it a whirl! Yes, the shop is older. Yes, there are a few older male barbers that work here, all of which are friendly. Everyone has to make a living, so who cares who's cutting hair. I go to Beth. She has been doing hair for years. She is always very friendly and accommodating. I've never had to wait for more than 5min (if that). I have long wavy hair. I get highlights and a trim every few months. My experiences here have always been a pleasure and I always leave happy w/ the way my hair looks. You also can't beat there prices!!\r more

So I was looking for a new salon. I have had a hard time trying to find a good one until I stumbled across this place. I didn't have an appointment and was taken care of right away by Candis. She did a great job, cut it exactly the way I like it. Which as simple as that sounds is hard to find lol. I was very satisfied with the friendliness, cleanliness, service, and all around great job she did. The search is finally over and won't b going anywhere else to get my hair cut again. I have been going to Arizona Hair Co for almost 3yrs now and I love it. I will never go anywhere else. I use to pay high dollar for having my hair cut and colored and was always disappointed until I went to the salon and met Szilvi for my hair appointment. Staff was very nice and professional and greeted me upon arrival . Szilvi introduced herself and I felt very welcome and important. Szilvi asked what I wanted and suggested lots of different colors and cuts that would fit with my features and shape of face and personality . Szilvi was also very knowledgeable about various products and hair colors. I use to be a firm believer in only Paul Mitchell products until Szilvi introduced me to Sebastian and Moroccan Oil products. By the end of my hair appointment I was so excited. My hair looked fabulous and was full of life. I even had my eyebrows waxed and they looked amazing. I have had the best experience at the Arizona Hair Co salon. Szilvi has years of expertise in the Hair industry and her fun loving , up-beat, caring, artistic spirit is incorporated in what she loves to do best , and that's to make people look and feel beautiful . I would highly recommend Szilvi and the Arizona Hair Co Salon to everyone…. It's great value, great products , great location….. and best of all wonderful staff. more

I was very pleasantly surprised when I got my hair cut here. I was a bit apprehensive because of the low price ($14 for a shampoo and cut) but it came out great. I saw Katie, who I learned has been cutting hair for 9 years and she clearly knew what she was doing. I came in with a photo and a good idea of what I wanted. She did exactly what I wanted and even stopped a few times along the way to ask me questions to make sure she was doing what I wanted. I loved my cut from the moment I first ran my fingers through it and I will definitely be returning the next time I need a cut. It isn't a fancy place and they didn't treat me like a princess but if you're like me and just want to get a haircut without it costing you an arm and a leg, this is the place for you. Nina has been my stylist for 3 years & she's the BEST! She transformed my long, overprocessed, platinum blond MOP into a short, super-stylish, healthy 'do that I get compliments on ALL the time. She's worked w/me on several color changes (I change my mind a lot), & is a complete MASTER in this area. I trusted her abilities enough to cut my hair from mid-back to about 2 inches long, and I've NEVER had short hair in my LIFE (I'm 35, by the way.) The other ladies and gentlemen at AHC are wonderful, too. I would go to anyone there. Make sure to get an appointment, though, they're pretty popular - there's a reason!
