I've had many many tell me how great Amalfi's. On our visit, we found the food to be average, not exceptional. Same ewith the service. What was worse, even though we were in non smoking, there was nothing to prevent the cigarette smell from coming over by us. We ate as quickly as possible and left, with no plans to return. There are better Italian places than this more

Awesome Little Italian Restaurant 7/25/2005

Amalfi is a local Italian restaurant that everyone knows about. They have great food and an intimate, casual atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. I think you can get an appetizer, main course, and a couple of alcohol drinks (beer or wine) for $40 per person or less. This is a nice place to take a date because it's pretty low-key. more
