Candy in Bloom is a gift shop so you can get the typical cutesy gifts there that you see in other shops. But it is more than that because it is also flowers, gift baskets, and baloon bouquets. You can order beautiful arrangements of any of the three and have them delivered. The prices are reasonable enough too.

I love this store because I always get such great bargains here.
I wouldn't exactly shop here for clothing for work or even really nice outfits, but this place is great if you are looking for jeans and casual t-shirts. They always have sales going on and you can really cash in on some of their deals. The store is small but filled with many items so make sure you have time to go through their big stock of clothing.
They also have an online store which is good to check out for clearance items.

American Greetings is a great place to stop in at when you are stumped as to what gift to buy. This place has some great little gifts that make wonderful gifts for anyone! They are gifts that are easy to choose, but thoughtful at the same time. You can pick up lots of great items here, like candles, ornaments, home decoration items, plaques, even chocolates. Mix and match a few items, grab a nice card, and you are ready to go with a nice and thoughtful gift!
American Greetings sure makes holiday shopping easy for me with their great selection. Plus, you can join their greeting card club that rewards you with free greeting cards after you purchase a certian amount!

Stratford Square mall is an excellant mall to go to when you just want to browse at your own pace. It is not usually very crowded and it contains a wide variety of stores. They also have a great food court and for kids they have a playland and water fountain display.
The mall contains many of the big brand name stores such as Kohls, Marshall Fields, JcPenny, Carsons, Burlington Coat Factory, and Sears. It has two levels and since it is not very crowded, it is nice to walk and enjoy all the shops.

This place is great!! The staff is friendly, help you work within your budget, and steer you toward the most flattering styles for your shape and coloring. I am petite and have a hard time finding regular clothes, let alone formal wear. I found a great dress for my daughter's wedding that made me look like the bride's mother, not grandmother. Their seamstress, Rosa, is great. I received lots of compliments. I would recommend this store to everyone.

You can find all the craft supplies you need here. Michael's also sends out papers on weekly basis with great coupons for 50% off. You can also check your Sunday paper for the sale paper. They have a wide selection of yarn and scrapbooking supplies but their bead selection is pretty scarce. If you are looking to make jewelery, you should go to a specialty store.

Well, if you need a gag gift for a bachelor or bachelorette party, Magiques is a good place to go for that kind of thing. They carry lots of adult-type toys, so if you are easily offended or easily embarrassed you might want to stay away from this place. Also, it's right on Lake St., one of the busiest streets in this area, so it's not exactly discreet.
