Review content:
I had been talking with the owner via email for 3 months and was forthcoming about the fact that I was about to graduate from cosmetology school. Well after I graduated I wanted to call, emailng is slow and I was excited to finally interview. When I told the owner who I was and why I was calling she sighed all irritated and snapped at me. While sounding like her nose was planted high in the air she said " We only hire stylist with at least 3 years experience". I told her we have been talking for three months and that was never brought up. All nasty she just repeated herself then hung up. Naturally after three months of emailing I am confused and kinda hurt.
Ok SO I realize a salon might not want to hire a new grad but why were we emailing then? That a side you dont need to be mean..sheesh. SInce then I have seen trashy roots post countless job postings on craigslist for stylist.. (high turn over?)all I know is I needed a haircut at the time this happened. Needless to say I never went in there and I found someone I really like to do my hair. I dont want to bring my business to anyone that thinks its ok to be nasty. Which is a shame because even if I wasnt working there I still needed my own stylist.
