Businiess name:  Trashy Roots Salon

Review content:
Update and edit: The stylist I reviewed (previously) has left the salon, so I have removed my previous comments. There simply wasn't enough space leave any new feedback regarding my last trip. (I'm leaving the stars at 5, to be fair to the salon.) Well because I loved all my previous Trashy Root experiences decided to go back, going with another person they suggested. I can't remember her name but it starts with a K. I think she has a lot of potential, and she was very nice. But I think she may need some more experience under her belt. My color retouch turned into a case of the 'hot roots' - it happen even when you reapply the same color, but it can certainly be avoided. The roots were a shade lighter (and redder) than the rest of my hair. She suggested I schedule again "at the end of the month" (which meant 2 or 3 weeks) so she could re-apply the color to the ends to even it out. But I don't think that would have worked, since you can't lift color with color, and I couldn't afford another visit so soon. The poor girl was suffering from allergies REAL bad, and it looked like it was wearing her down. That isn't her fault, but it seems like it would make it difficult to focus. Well, I always had high hopes for this salon, from the very beginning. Round Rock needs more diversity for us folks who are sick and tired of driving downtown just to find something interesting. I hope they do well and I hope my last experience was a fluke. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon but down the road I'll prolly give the a try again. Pros: Great Round Rock location, very clean, friendly staff, prices are excellent Cons: My mother would never come here with me (prolly because of the name)
