Review content:
Well, let me start with what was good about this place. They did have a rather large selection of both draft and bottled beer. However, I am looking forward to the Yard House which should be opening this year in Houston. The Yard House is five stars!
Well I ordered a draft Amstel Light, and chips and queso, my wife had water. The waitress brought our water, then proceeded to stand around and talk to customers at the bar. After about 10 minutes or so without getting my beer and our app sitting waiting to be picked up, I asked the waitress about the beer. She said, "Oh, I've just been waiting on it." Then she proceded to the bar and placed my order to the bartender, which was obvious was not done before. Don't lie to me, just tell me you forgot, no big deal.
Then she brought my beer and our app (after sitting there for a while). Not even 60 seconds later our food order was up. Which she was prompt to bring us. So we had about a min or so to try the chips and queso. Which was probably a blessing, given the fact the chips were stale, but who wants there food right after receiving their appitizer? So we did not even touch them.
My wife ordered the chicken sandwich, which she said was very bland, but she ate it anyway. I had the half-rack of ribs with fries and mashed potatoes. The mashed paotatoes were pretty good and the fries average. The ribs were horrible, dry, burnt, and very bland as well. I had half of one. The waitress came back by after a bit and asked if I needed a to-go box for the ribs. I said no thanks that I was done with them. Instead of asking if anything was wrong with them, or if there was something else I wanted, she just took the plate.
When she brought our check, to no suprise of mine, everything was still on the bill, even though we ate less than half the food. I did not say anything, because I am not out to try to get free food. So I just paid the bill. If you like poor service and food, this is your place!!
Pros: Good beer selection
Cons: Everything else
