Review content:
Upon arrival, we were greeted by two very personable clerks. Our check-in process was quick and we were off to our room in no time. We had a pool-side view, which was quite nice. The pool area was colorful, clean, relaxing, and inviting. Our room was not huge, but it was good for us and was definitely anything but uncomfortable. Parking in their garage was $12 a day, but this was not unexpected. I had read in advance that this hotel charged for parking. Frankly, it’s well worth it anyway; there is nowhere else in the downtown area to park, really except paid parking garages. The garage was clean, camera-monitored, and often monitored by staff members as well. We did not worry for a moment about our car. Upon exiting the hotel, you walk MAYBE a block down the street, descend some steps from the street level to the river level, and you’re on your way! The hotel is towards the end of the River Walk, but within three minutes time, you have reached the area where all of the excitement is. The area without all of the excitement is still quite serene, peaceful, and pretty to look at! From the lobby area with a fireplace and a library to the nicely decorated breakfast area, this hotel offers everything we needed with good location and more than fair prices. I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. They made our trip hassle-free and more enjoyable; it was a perfect place to rest our heads after the day’s events!
