Our company held a professional staff development workshop for educators here. The prices were exceptionally reasonable. It was a delightful experience, and we are planning to return for our five-day Summer Institute in June. We were looking for value and quality; while this was not a five-star hotel, our expectations were exceeded.
We were very impressed with the quality of everything, from the professional and prompt service to the food and beverage, to the Internet speed and the wonderful boardroom. Our small group had a wonderful time! The Monterrey Room was a great place to just relax; it was huge, comfortable and very quiet, with beautiful, soothing music. They have a lending library and a grand piano as well! The board room was large, with very high ceilings and one wall was a floor to ceiling library. The brick and wood materials were reminiscent of Old World architecture, and gave the room a pleasant ambiance. One end of the room was enormous windows, giving us the comfort of natural lighting - not like most common boardrooms of just plain walls and no windows. I would highly recommend this hotel.
