For my husband and I this hotel scored excellent on all counts - the lobby area, the breakfast area and the bedroom/bathroom were spotless. The room we had (king with sofabed and balcony) was a very good size, had a comfortable bed, was well furnished and everything was in working order. All the staff that we had dealings with were both friendly and helpful. We found the location to be just what we wanted - convenient to most places but without all the noise and bustle of the main drag of the Riverwalk. It is a very short walk to the Riverwalk (out of the doors by the coffee shop, cross the road and down the steps and you are there!!). This is the more peaceful stretch of the Riverwalk but it is very pretty and well worth the walk. We used the path by the river to get to the Alamo and surrounding area with ease. I am so pleased to note that many other people are finding really positive things to say about this hotel. It is very good value for money. (I have recently received an email from the hotel to say that the coffee shop and restaurant are now open).
