Businiess name:  Tom Gohring's School-Tai Chi
Review by:  Karen M.
Review content:
I began Tai Chi in Jan. 2005. My first question was “am I too old to start this”. My expectations at the time were simply for stress relief and exercise that would be gentle on my joints, especially my knees. Now seven sashes later, I’m about to graduate to Brown Sash while celebrating my last year in my fifties. My expectations of stress relief and “soft” exercise have been far exceeded. Through the excellent teaching of Master Gohring and his staff, I am able to accomplish things I never thought I could possibly do when I stepped through the door. The benefits of core strength, proper breathing, balance and focus become a part of you while learning the Tai Chi forms, something that I can use daily in my life, not just when in class. Although the applications of each of the moves in the form has never been my strong point, at this level and after a lot of patience on my part and that of Master Gohring and staff, I am finally realizing the power of the form. Although I was asked if I could write a review, I gladly do so and recommend Master Gohring’s Tai Chi for anyone that would like to learn in a caring experienced environment.
