Let me tell you how I am disbuting with the Better Business Bureau in regards to a crown he put in for me 2 years ago. Yeah, it's broken, into 5 pieces. He will not replace it or refund me either. Why? He says because I didn't go to my check-ups. Well, let's see, I told him my insurance ran out and I didn't have enough money for his $75 visits PLUS. Supposedly he stand by his work and will only replace it within the 5 yrs. if I can prove I have gone to another practice. I did visit another practice in the area who REALLY stands by their work and said if the crown breaks within the 5 yrs. REGARDLESS of check ups, they replace it FREE OF CHARGE. Now, let me tell you why the crown broke. Dr. Conte continuosly blames it on TMJ, which I do not have, I clich my teeth when I am bored or working, watching tv...ect. I do not grind my teeth as he claims. When I went in to the other dentist to have a temp put on, he told me that Dr. Conte FAILED to file down the post more which caused it to sit awkward in my mouth and to stick out a bit. ALSO, the tooth below needed a bit of filing as well because it was hitting my crown. Dr. Conte is rude and likes to compare dental work to buying cars and cardio surgery. Maybe he should compare it to what it really is-DENTAL WORK. Besides, he shouldn't compare something that has nothing to do with what he is in practice for. If you are looking for a good dentist, Dr. Conte is most defiantly NOT the person to go to. Not only is he rude, he continuously leaves you in the middle of working on your teeth to work on another patient, the wait is ridiculous in the back, and he lies. Go elsewhere, you would be better off. I am not the only one who thinks so. My co-worker also went to him and switched to someone else.
