Review content:
My son woke up complaining of a painful toe – and when I looked at it, well, yuck. Ingrown if there ever was one. I called his pediatrician and was given Dr. Huppin’s name and then called to see if he could be seen later on in the day. The receptionist (she is SUPER sweet) informed me that he was out of the office for the day (Friday afternoon) but she would call him and see if he'd be willing to come into the office to see us.
He called me back, personally, within the hour and said he could come by the office later that afternoon! He was very gentle and funny with my frightened 9 yo. He used a cold spray on his toe before numbing it and Josh said it was the best shot he’d ever had – not that he wanted another one.. After the toe was completely numb he took care of the ingrown nail in just a couple minutes.
In addition to being a fantastic doctor, Larry has a great beside manner and is fantastic with kids.
