Review content:
I recently joined Southern Living at Home as a consultant, so I thought I'd review the company for Judy's Book. Southern Living At HOME is the direct sales company of Southern Progress Corporation, a subsidiary of Time Inc. Independent Consultants serve communities throughout the United States, not just the south! The Company was founded in January 2001. It is the fastest growing party plan company in the history of direct sales, with plenty of room for more growth and consultants. Many people have not yet heard of SLAH or been to a party, and this is really an advantage over some of the other direct sales/party companies out there.
The stunning line of home products bring the pages of Southern Living magazine to life. The company was actually founded in response to many subscribers inquiring about how to find decorative pieces that are found in Southern Living magazine. The one-of-a-kind pieces add warmth and welcome to your home and make decorating easy. There is a new catalog every spring and fall, and many people enjoy looking at it just for the decorating ideas that can be found.
Like many party-plan products, hosting a party is central to our business. By opening your home to a party and Southern Living at Home products, a typical hostess would earn $100-200 in free products, free shipping, several 50% off products, and other specials. It is a great program, and a good excuse to have a "girls' night out."
I joined Southern Living at Home mainly for the discount I would have as I decorate our home. It is a small initial investment ($199), and you receive approximately $700 in your kit.
If you haven't heard of Southern Living at Home yet, I hope you will meet someone in your community that can tell you about the beautiful products. Take a look around my website if you are interested in Southern Living at Home: http://www.southernlivingathome.com/ward
