Businiess name:  Thai Spice Restaurant
Review by:  Jenny B.
Review content:
Thai Spice is a small but well-appointed little place that serves decent food at reasonable prices. It's a great spot for lunch during the week (haven't been for dinner). Even so, it's not the first place I would go to for Thai food. I'm spoiled though....I've had better Thai, so while Thai Spice is good, it's not great. Food wise, I like that they offer a mild version of their spicier dishes, like Panang Chicken. I like flavor, not fire, so being able to get the warm flavor of red curry without so much heat is a blessing for my weak palate. I'm not so crazy about the dressing they put on their house salads, though. It's a sweet peanut sort of dressing which I find off-putting. I wish they'd at least put it on the side. Service is, well, serviceable. Not spectacular, but they've never been outright rude. Food has always been good, well-cooked, and prompt. During lunch, I think it's a little too prompt, if you know what I mean, but again, it's lunch. They no doubt want to turn the tables over as quickly as they can for as small as the place is. Also, the restaurant and restrooms are fairly clean, although occasionally I've had to ask for more silverware or another glass to replace one that wasn't fully washed. Most people I know swear by Thai Spice as the best Thai in Fort Lauderdale. I know that's not true, but all the same, it is definitely a consistently good place to eat. In South Florida, that alone can be high praise.
