Review content:
Walmart has always been my place of choice for film developing. Until just a week ago I took all of my film developing (35mm) there. I loved their quick and inexpensive One Hour Film Developing service. In the past my photos have always turned out great and if they don't it's usually my fault and not theirs! :>)
I also love the matte finish that they offer on all of their developing. Glossy is all right but always shows to many fingerprints and I don't like the glare that glossy photos give off.
One week ago everything changed...
I took my digital pics there for developing and they turned out absolutely horrible! They were off color (everything was tinted red), out of focus and grainy. I have never seen such horrible developing. I took my memory card home and at the advice of a friend attempted to reprint my digital pics from my home printer. Wallah! They turned out amazing! Just as I would expect digital photos to turn out.
I would definitely recommend Walmart's One Hour Developing to anyone who uses 35mm film - they do a consistently great job! But if you are a digital camera user, look elsewhere because Walmart's One Hour will just waste your money and the only thing you'll get back is horrible photos!
