Review content:
My husband and I took our two children to this pool yesterday. There were four lifeguards on duty. I watched as my daughter went down the slide, panicked, and started going under. The lifeguard at the top of the slide was literally kicked back in his chair talking to someone, the lifeguard that was standing right NEXT to the slide was staring off in the complete opposite direction of the water. I ran up to one of the lifeguards and yelled for him to do something, as he was closer than I was, he did not blow his whistle, or attempt to do anything. I screamed across the pool and finally the lifeguard by the slide jumped in. My daughter was completely terrified. There were four lifeguards on duty, yet NONE of them noticed when a child was going under. The water by the slide is isolated and there should only be ONE person in that area, it should have been extremely easy to spot someone drowning. The lifeguard by the slide should have been IN the water watching people come down, instead of staring off AWAY From the pool. There is no reason at all for that situation to have happened considering the fact there there were FOUR lifeguards standing around the pool. These lifeguards did not seem to take their jobs seriously and I honestly hate to think of what could have happened had I not been paying attention to my child. I would not recommend this pool to anyone until these lifeguards are better trained and realize the importance of their job.
